I'm went to their website to b*tch and ask for a refund. Their website is down too.

I too was in the middle of a tourney.

I want a full refund. Wish me luck with that.

At least they're pausing the tournaments and dealing with it equitably. You're just experiencing the frustration live players have had for years: sitting around waiting for their game to get going.

Are they pausing? Earlier today they announced the delay before hand. Right now it just went down with out notice.

Id be surprised if they paused everything. We'll see...

Right now I don't, I'm not on the site.

But it's happened to me the past couple of nights (my time, early morning the US I guess), everyone at the table had dropped out and when I was able to log back in a few minutes later there was a system message saying the game had been paused to allow people to reconnect. Once people got back on, the game started again.

They were performing server maintenance when I was on last night too.

If things shut down for too long they either refund the buy in or split up the prize pool between players equally. Problem happens when a player is at final table and has 90 percent of chips, instead of getting 90 percent of prize pool they get 11 percent.

Also if mid hand in a cash game they split the pot, you could just have pushed all in with a flush, and the pot gets split with the person u caught bluffing.

On a large scale it would be tough to really proportionally divide prize pools, so the way they do it makes sense.

I have also wondered, if someone knew how to make full tilt servers crash, they could play for any amount of money and if got behind in a hand or close to getting knocked out of tournament, send a death ping to full tilts servers and crash it all, gets the player their money back, or a portion of prize pool.

The times it's happened to me it's taken between 5-15 minutes for the game to restart? There was a server maintenance period that they announced last night too which lasted for maybe half an hour (most of an episode of High Stakes Poker, anywho).

The games have always come back at exactly the point they were left at though, I'm yet to have a problem where I'm kicked out of a game and it's been restarted without me.

Fulltilt Issues

Full Tilt has had something strange occurring for the last 3 days or so with glitches in the system that require all their tournaments to pause for several minutes ranging from 10-30 minutes its very frustrating. I've had blogs on my site referring to the same difficulties.

Yeah today I was playing at lunchtime for about 45 minutes and near the end of my session a pop-up came up to say that the entire FT system was being rebooted in 5 minutes ... so I am guessing they are secretly doing a major system upgrade or some sort of migration. Hopefully this doesn't last any longer, it's a pain.

Yes, I agree. Rumor has it that Full Tilt was under attack by hackers.

But I'm not one to talk....so you didn't hear it from me!

Tally ho!

i get disconected from tilt quite often, but it always puts me back on within about 20 seconds, so it mostly gives enough time to still play
