| Full Tilt $30 Million Double Guarantees Week http://p.fulltiltpoker.com/double-guarantees-week For one week only – Monday, January 24th through Sunday, January 30th – we’re doubling the guaranteed prize money for every one of our Weekly Guarantees, culminating in one of the biggest Big Money Sundays ever. In addition, we are converting all guarantee tournaments for the week to our new Multi Entry Tournament format. Anyone going to play in any of these huge tournaments? 750K guarantee now 1.5 Mil. I'll prob play the Daily Doller with 4 or 5 entries as prize pool would then be 20,000. |

| I think it sucks that FTP has chosen to add this new gimmicky promo during the Double Guarantee week. I believe this makes it more difficult for the recreational MTT player (ie. alot of MTT regs. will be entering 4x & am guessing many recreational players won't be, especially newer ones). This will make for a higher proportion of regs. to recs. which I think will also hurt it for the regs. as well. I'm not opposed to FTP bringing in this new type of tournament (although not really a big fan either.... so does this mean an m/a'r might have 16-30entries into a tournament? lol), but to make all of the double guar. tourney 'multi-entry' kinda sucks. |

| My feelings about FTP are well known I am sure but for anyone that still loves playing there do you kinda get the feeling that they no longer care about the hard core poker player and have instead switched to making everything feel all very play-land and casino like? Where as Pokerstars introduces home games which I feel is geared towards the hard core poker player. I mean Matrix, Multi-Entry, even Rush is all about them not the player. |

| Bizarre. I played one and the HUD worked fine. With regards to what's been discussed, I doubt there will be any overlay in any of the tournaments in all honesty. They usually make the guarantee normally, considering more will play you only have to have an average buy in of about 2 per person to make it. Even though will buy in once, some are gonna do it 4-6 times so I can't see any overlay. With regards to Kmixers points, I can See what you mean about these new game types being for them since they generate more rake but both rush and multi entry have proved massively popular from what I can see and I think FTP is just offering more options. Every poker site is a business and I think that Stars and Tilt both do a great job of attracting the recreational player as much as the regs or grinders. |

| 1) THere will be virtually no overlays at all 2) THey won't be reg fests. Regs can't play their regular schedule and then multiply it by 4. They don't have the bandwidth. So they will have to be selective as o which tournies they multi-reg for.... leaving the other tournies less full of regs. 3) PT HUD works fine. 4) This is the best thing since sliced bread for a +EV player in a given tournament. THere may be more regs, but there will be fish-sticks regging 4 times too especially in low buyins. More dead money! I Love these things. The hard part will be trying to figure out what to play. |

I'll be avoiding the double guarantees; on the plus side because of the 16 table cap and people getting 4 entries to these tournies there will likely be less regs in other regular tournies and large field SnGs |

| re: Full Tilt $30 Million Double Guarantees Week poker Im gonna check the schedule, and will probably play one to see what the multi entrants are like. I am guessing that you can open every one in a separate window just like in multi tabling different games? Lots of speculation "It will be better for xxx, worse for xxx" It WILL be interesting to see what its like, seems to me its just like having 4 10$ games open at once (or whatever buy in) since you can only make one cash per player, I dont see a real difference to 4 entries in a 10$ game and 4 10$ games of similar entrant size. But I am just speculating as well............... I do agree that all of the juicy doubles are in this format and that sucks, they should make this promo with out combining it with an unknown gimmick. Still, if you enter a game and dont mind a large field I cant see what the difference is. It can actually be a + since your reads will possibly still be useful at another table.
