Full Tilt 10NL rings

\"\"Posted: Wed May 21, 2008 9:50 pm Post subject: Full Tilt\"\" \"\" \"\"I have mixed feelings about Full Tilt. I play ring games NLHE at the .05/.10 and built up a nice bankroll. I like to buy in for the maximum 100 BigBlinds and rebuy to keep a full stack. This worked very nicely for me because I was able to win a couple of full stacks on big hands every couple of hours. The big stack players seem to now have become "victimized" by the short stackers. They like to buy in for the minimum and go all in on long shot draws and face cards. The problem this presents is that the pot odds are never there for a big stack to bet out on a pocket pair and the variance gets really high. I try to scout loose tables on Tilt but the loose tables all have 5 shorties in there. I would like to see some NL games with fixed buy ins like you would see in a home game. It just seems that it is harder to make big pots with so many short stackers in there. Of course, if you are playing a short stack strategy then maybe you feel differently, but I seldom see short stack players ever build their stacks to equal one full buyin at this level. They usually win a couple of all ins and then get wiped out on one hand.

LOL! The next time you copy and paste an old post from another forum, try not to include the post date and action buttons from the other forum. It looks kinda fishy when you do.

re: Full Tilt 10NL rings poker

It was my post from another forum. What's the problem in sharing it? If it violates a rule I will no longer do this. Please elaborate.

I did it purposely to incite responses by the posting police. I would then be able to respond to each criticism, thereby increasing my total posts. As you can tell by the text of the initial post it had no merit as an idea, was beyond the expiration date for thought and does not belong in any forum let alone a forum of this intellectual capacity. This will be my last.
Thanks.

re: Full Tilt 10NL rings poker

I play NL25 6 Max and I buy in for 50% of the max always. The best part is when I leave the table and I have 2-4x my buyin. So Im not sure what works/ doesnt work for you.........
