FT's Ironman One-A-Day Freeroll

Full Tilt said that registration for the Ironman One-A-Day freeroll opens up on the 3rd of the month (yesterday, for those who qualified in September), but I can't find the game.

Does anyone know what the tournament number of the Ironman One-A-Day freeroll is, so I can find it easier?

I can't find it either, even though all the other IronMan freerolls are up. I emailed full tilt a few minutes ago asking about this. Will see what they say.

I wish the prices in the ironman store were a little bit lower. I'd take the medals. Seems like this months tourney will be packed because of Take 2.

I hated that one a day freeroll. Wish I'd taken the medals each time I played it (the prizepool is spread out so thinly).

I agree. I've taken the medals for 4 months now. This month promises to be worse than usual because of Take Two. It does take place on the 2nd Saturday of every month, so this one should be on the afternoon (EST) of the 10th. Good luck to all who play.

i'm thinking the medals are a better deal. especially this month as it rate to be packed. i'm sure everyone will get an email in plenty of time to resister and also if you do opt for the medals it normally take about 3 days after the tourney to get them.

You will need a lot of months to get medals for anything in store.I will play freeroll.
Cheapest thing in store is Iron day.If I play at any Iron man level then it makes sense to take medals. But first I must reach that level of play(50 FTP per day).

re: FT's Ironman One-A-Day Freeroll poker

For the regulars who play this game, what is the average amount of players in this freeroll and is the prize money worth the time? Still a few days away and I cant decide to play or take the medals. This will be my first Ironman freeroll.

Sure the medals aren't worth much (but if you accumulate them at least you can buy a $26token which I'd gladly take over playing the garbage freeroll 10times). Actually.. .you couldn't pay me to play that freeroll again. THe play is horrendous and it's not worth your time imo (unless your account is really hurting). I found it just took up space on my screen that could be filled with something else.
ie. I played it once for ~4hrs. and placed 20th of 1,096 entrants and won the big $5 from it. It was brutal!
The money in the prizepool is spread soooo thinly that you really have to place in the top few to make a decent score.

I guess it's not that bad. I just found it to be a disappointment and from my own experience I wouldn't repeat it every again (Medals seemed real shiny & stuff compared to this tourney).

Last month there was 1377 paying 360. I'd expect there to be more entries this month simply because how popular Take 2 was.

At 15 bonus medals a month for Iron Man, it takes 10 months to earn a $26 token (140 medals). Not exactly easy to do, but if you play poker every day you might as well play enough to earn a point. I wasn't aware of the 1 point requirement at first, and I looked back and found I would have had a few more Iron months than I have, just because I was a few hundredths of a point short on a couple of days.

OK. Freeroll has started. Only 1,316 entries (I thought there would be more as well). I'd love to hear how everyone is faring. I'm up some chips very early, playing hands very selectively.

I busted out of the silver iron man FR rather fast QQ<< AK aipf. Still treading water in the one a day but I'm tempted to go do something more interesting like.... well, pretty much anything other than this debacle. Now I remember why I don't play freerolls, it's not worth the time or effort.

I wasn't referring to you, I didn't even realize you were at my table let alone that was you I knocked out.

I saw someone raise from UTG+1 with JTo, I've seen 2 people call 3 bets including a large river bet with ace high because they couldn't fold their AK.
