FTP Tournament Dollars

I've noticed when i get to stay up late, its pretty fun to play in the satellite to the ferguson. its a hyper turbo, 2700 person tourney where the top 100 get T$1. i've played it maybe 6 times and gotten the dollar twice. it really is somewhat of a point and shoot type tourney.

what i'll probably do is just use them for a couple daily dollar entries, but what i'm wondering is what does everyone usually do with these things? is it worth trying to get more and buy into a little bit bigger tourney just for the heck of it? (i haven't looked to see) i'm thinking probably the daily dollar is my best bet. the ferguson is just a little too late and too much alcohol for me to probably take seriously enough. they also have an option to convert it to real cash, i have around $20 in my ftp account, not really enough for me to do much with, at least as far as i'm concerned, and an extra 1.95 or whatever won't make much of a difference. any suggestions to any other MTT's 2 or 3...or 5 bucks would be worth a stab at other than the daily dollar?

There are various things you could do but I would be tempted to use some of my $20 to play in a few 18 to 27 player SnGs. These tourneys are winable and a good way to boost your bankroll. As for the daily Dollar watch out because it is a rebuy and there are lots of guys who will play on the basis that they will take chances and rebuy a few times.

I think the 50+10c turbo re-buy satellites to the Double Deuce can be a good alternative. They start every hr at 23minutes past.
I would recomend to take the re-buy and the add-on, so you need $1.60.

re: FTP Tournament Dollars poker

They are quite similar to the hyper turbo freeroll satellite, and once you win a ticket, you should unregister from the target tourney, and then you have a bankroll to build on.
Then use those t$ to play more DD satellites and daily dollar tourneys.

You have the daily dollar rebuy but you also have the daily dollar without rebuy which starts more then 4 hrs later. I think that's the one he means.
The $1000 guarentee (rebuy) with a buyin of $0,10 is also an option btw.

re: FTP Tournament Dollars poker

This thread inspired me to play a turbo rebuy satellite to the DD, and just like I suggested I took a re-buy and an add-on for $1.60 total, and now I have 22t$
