FTP - Seat "Reserved" for Hours by One Player?

The table seats nine. Eight seats are occupied by people who are playing. One seat has a guy's screen name and says "Reserved".

The game is $10NL on Full Tilt Poker.

How is this possible? Is this guy paying blinds the whole time? When I join a table it only gives me a minute to sort myself out. And it doesn't say "sitting out". So what sort of malarkey is this?

You can spend fulltilt points or iron man, something like that, to have your own table.

Yup. It seems like it would take a ridiculous amount of time to do this at 10NL, but if you have a crapload of FT points or a ridiculous ammount of iron man medals you can get your own table. You don't have to pay blinds or anything, and as soon as you login you can just hop right in and play. Personally I don't think its worth it...but...meh...to each his own.
