FTP points now have expiration dates

Not to worry, though for those who are active. Full Tilt Poker points now only expire if you haven't logged onto FTP after 2 years.

Basically this is a who cares thing. How many people don't log in for 2 years?

Apparently something happened where they had to implement this change, lol.

I don't think it's a new policy. I remember reading this in a forum post like a year ago. Someone didn't log in for a couple years and noticed all their points were gone and was like wtf, and support clarified they expired after 2 years.

Phew! Almost paniced until I saw the 2 year grace period. I've got about 7500 points. I keep telling myself I'm going to spend 3500 to get a $22 ticket to the double deuce on Saturday but I keep forgetting!

good thing for the 2 year rule. i cashed in on some points recently and it killed my rakeback. FTP recently gifted me 2,000 points....it was from the 500 promo thing on twitter. i e-mailed support to tell them i didnt get my 500, and the gave me 2,000.

I was gonna complain as well, but if you haven't logged in for a couple of years, you're probably not gonna miss the points.

After 2 years of not playing, you would obviously not be too worried about them.

Had my points taken on another site today, about 10k of them. Sucks that they didn't give me any warning before taking them. I have til the end of March to earn 2,750 points (@ 15 points per $1 of rake) so I tried some Jackpot SNGs today. Earned 600 of them so I should get there as long as I don't go busto. Only had ~$40 on there and was playin $5 - $50 games. Not good BRM I know but I don't really care about the $$ on there too much.

Would be a pretty sweet outcome if I managed to hit one of the jackpots (min $15K) lol. Longshot though cos you gotta win 5 10 mans in a row or 6 6 mans. The site is Celeb Poker so if you've got points there you should cash them in instead of just wasting them. They expire in 12 months from when they are earned.
