FTP Ironman

Seen some members with the little chip next to there name , and read through the ironman page on FTP ? Still do not understand it , how do you sign up? Or is it based on how many hours you play online ?? Or can someone give me a breakdown on how it works? The page on FTP is a little bit confusing

Briefly, you need to acquire a certain number of player pts. per day (FTP's) for a specified number of days in order to achieve Ironman Status (I think it's 200FTP's for 20 days out of the month but don't quote me on that).

To qualify for the bottom level (bronze) you need to earn 50 points (ftp's) a day for 15 days out of the month. To hit the top level (iron) you have to earn 200 points per day for either 20 or 25 days. Its a frequent player bonus.
You earn 7 points for every $1 rake paid. So in a $10+$1 game, you earn 7 points. In a $20+$2 game, you get 14 points etc etc etc.

It's just based off how many FTP points you earn over how ever many number of days (happy hour bonuses do not count). To get the lowest level bonus Bronze = you need to earn 50 ftp points a day for over 20 days in a month. Ironman is 200 points a day for 25 days of a month.

Go to cashier. On the bottom click My Promotions. You opt in under the ironman icon. You do have to play every day,which if you're like me you do, and even if you don't reach the levels you get medals just for qualifying, or get into the one a month freerolls.

My question, is iron man worth it?

Well, at a certain level (100nl+) getting the 200 points is very easy but the fact that you have to play 20 days out of the month can suck. Iron man by it's self probably wouldn't be worth it but the end-of/mid year bonuses that they base on how many IM medal you've collected in the previous 6-months makes it worthwhile.

i would def say iron man is worth it ...especially at the end of the year with their iron man bonus...if anybody has made iron man from july through december full tilt is going to give them $600 CASH

FTP doesn't give any "cash". It is just a bonus that must be earned like the other FTP bonuses. Also, you only have 30 days to clear the bonus. If you play a high enough limit, I guess banking the 10,000 Full Tilt Points that it would take to release your bonus is possible, but not for me. I might be able to clear $50 worth...
