FT updated the ironman payouts

Looks like fulltilt will now reward their long term ironmen better.

900 medals is worth a little over $150.

They've also added the ability to buy 200 point days or a continuing month from the Iron Man store. At least you can now miss a month and not have to reset to base points.

Hey Belgo, just got a few ?? for you.

What stakes are you playin at?

How many hours do you play each month?

Do you have rakeback, if so how much rake do you generate each month?

What does your hourly rate look like?

Sorry to ask so many questions, Im just curious how much poker a player has to play in order to reach the iron man level successfully each month.

I havent been able to make Iron man Bronze yet......but then again Im working with a limited bankroll ATM so it kinda hinders my ability to play alot and suffer thru the downswings.

yes. Playing on FTP without rakeback is pointless.

200nl lately, but only got 10k hands there so far. Before that, all the stakes from 10nl up.

At 200nl my MGR should be about $2k in March I think.

Well, ironman is more about playing every day then about playing a huge volume. You actually only need 200 points per day. That's about $24 of MGR at full ring. That's about 450 hands at 100nl or 270 hands at 200nl. Playing 6 tables it's about 1 hour at 100nl and 40 minutes at 200nl.

Wow thanks for all the good responses Belgo. I guess it seems like alot of work when I am playing 10nl. Usually I can work up around 50-60 points per day. Believe me and I know u do its really hard to play so long and grind like that....

Yeah I guess ur right, it aint that bad. I just wanna move up in levels, but I cant. Ive never deposited and Im trying to do the same as you in building a huge bankroll online from scratch.

Poker is what makes me happy. I dont play to gamble. I play for the pure enjoyment of it and learning new things each time I play.

Hopefully one day I can do what you have done as your $10k post gave me hope and inspiration that its definitely something that is possible to achieve, no matter how hard it may seem.
