FT, new weekly 1K tourney entries

Hi all,

I was wondering what is going to happen if you win a seat in this $ 1000 weekly freeroll more than once or if you unregistered and had asked at the tables and in forums, but no answer...

I won my entry earlier today and decided to find out:

How i hate it when whatever i copy/paste just vanishes...

What am i doing wrong?


What it boils down to:

You get NOTHING if you win entry again or unreg..., so dont.

(a bit pissed now... copy paste works fine everywhere else...)

With previous freerolls you used to get 100 ftp for every additional time you made it

You mean you don't get the entry? What do you win if you go to the next step?

That's too bad about not getting anything if you unregister. I qualified for this Sunday's event but as of right now, there are over 9000 players and only 90 get paid (about 1%). Other than a few higher top prizes, I'm not sure why this is better than the other freerolls given that you have to put in 3 hours or so to qualify.

I have 4 entries for sunday but you can only use 1 ...i thought ftp but didn't get any...oh well i was bored anyways

I thought if someone won multiple seats to the same tournament or was unable to play (eg: time issues) & unregistered they rec'd Tournament $s (T$) that could be used to buy into another tournament?

Perhaps this doesn't apply to the $1K freeroll if the only means of entering is winning a seat so there isn't a buy in equivalent? I haven't managed to survive to 1K players left let alone make the top 250.

So let me get this right, there's whining here because you win a seat to a FREEROLL and then don't get any FTP points or cash.

Well duh, that's because it's a FREEROLL. So if it makes you feel better, when you unregister for the FREEROLL, just pretend that you received one meeellion invisible FTPs.

BTW, I qualified in the very first qualifier, and I'm going to win this Sunday.

Yeah, you win a seat into the freeroll, so there's nothing paid except time. No way to cash out and get those hours back. Good luck in the final event though, if you choose to play it!

I won a seat for Sunday myself. Since you are getting nothing more for winning more than one. Stop playing and let some other players a better chance of winning a seat themselves. I know it might let less people in to play but it would be nice to not play all those hours for nothing at all. That is worse than playing for play chips.

I am glad they have these tournaments now. Winning a ticket is a battle. Mind you, only the top 90 will cash in the freeroll final and I am guessing there will be over 15000 playing. Not great odds!!!

Those tourneys are pointless. I understand its a freeroll but theres a better chance of playing for HOURS and missing the money. Not playing like 3-4 hours like most tourneys but playing like 6-7 hours and thats even worse. Plus youre playing for just $100 and If you can win a tourney that big, winning $100 doesnt seem worth it. Maybe its just me.

The point i was trying to make:
it is NOT like Pokerstars, where you get a ticket to use whenever you choose, you have to win entry during the week you want to and are able to play on sunday.
wasnt hoping to get T$ or FTP, just a ticket to use the next week.

And even if 250x12x7= 21000 players might play and the 1st price is about $90, i will play, i dont deposit and try to maintain/increase my bankroll only by playing tourneys, no ringgames for me at the moment...i guess the tourney should take about 8 hours to the final table, a long sit indeed, but there will be loads of sitouts too...

Freerolls are for those who are trying to make some money for free. Those who don't want to play for hours (with luck) to make a few bucks---don't bother. Mostly it's people without bankrolls or who want to work on some aspect of their tourney play or who want to blow off steam.

It does kinda suck that you get nothing if you win multiple entries. Perhaps you could write FT and suggest that there be some recompense in FTPs if not a dime.

I did email them and asked if they were going to install some kind of ticketsystem, got an anwer, even fast, but not to the question...lol
So emailed again and am waiting...lol

But why u can play in this? Isnt a easy tournament because have 15k or more players trying the first prize. I got a ticket friday and will play.

Just qualified for the 1k freeroll...

So, were there any CCers (or would it be CCerers = CardChatterers) in this today, other than moi, or too involved with the MiniFTOPS Warmup? I qualified last Sunday night for today so that pretty much killed playing in the Rd 1 freerolls the rest of the past week.

I finished 130/19,430 ...got too short stacked ($80K) towards the end by being killed by the blinds & antes + card dead.

Was doing pretty well until I lost 1/2 my $200K+ stack in an A.10 vs 10.10 hand...A on the flop (good for me ) & case 10 on the river (not good for me )...no all in until the river when I thought my 2 pair was good. Looks like one needs @ least $300K chips in order to be ITM when there's about 150 peeps left. It was good practice for a nit like me...had many opps to try being tight AND agressive.

Full Tilt has absolutley ruined there freerolls!! Now u gotta finish in the top 200 out of 10k to even get a seat to play against 10k more people for only 1k$. 8-9 hrs of playin and then u still may not make a dime. The $100 freerolls with 2700 people are now $150 freerolls with 10k people. I mean WTF add 7300 entrant spots and only $50 more. CRAZY Full Tilts freerolls arent worth my time unless im extremly bored and have 5 hrs to kill!!! I couldnt imagine winning a ticket into the 1k tourny and unregistering and get nothing. I would be sick for a week!!
