| FT Cap rooms I quite enjoy plaing in the FT Cap rooms this where you can only push all in for a certain amount no matter how big your stack is. EG playing 1c/2c the max all in was 60c. I know some players may notr like this as they cant use their stack to push people off but for me with a small bankroll it works really well. |

Seriously though, this should be called TLHE (Table Limit Hold'em) as it is basically nothing more than a cross between NLHE and PLHE. So if people like this sort of game and want to play it because they are risk averse or playing outside their rolls, then that's fine. But marketing it as NLHE with a cap is just a market gimmick and lie. By definition "no limit" means no cap. |

I know what you mean. Its a NL Game which you can buy in for a 30BB max (all other chips on the table are an illusion) Its a wierd one, I started a thread on these a week or two ago. Its essentially a SS game where most people dont realise it SS game and therefore play hands that need bigger implied odds to be profitable. I really don't see the point of these games .. other than if you play them, half the table will not realise its actually a SS game... and so you must have soe ind of edge over them |

The extra chips are not in play. They are like your shirt - at the table but you can't bet it. @ Stu: the tables are helpful for people like me who only have like a 6 dollar bankroll and need to minimize their variance. That's about the only reason I can think of. Maybe someone who is an expert at SS play that thinks they can exploit people better here. |
