Freerolls on US Friendly Sites Hello CC, been a while I am trying to start up a bankroll from scratch without depositing. I have been looking around for Us-friendly sites that have freerolls. I would love to gather some information to help find some freerolls to play. Any help would be greatly appreciated and I plan to compile any contributed info into an organized post. Please try to answer the following questions: a)Name of site b)Poker Network c)Schedule (EST) (or frequency) of freerolls and payouts. d)Max players and average # of players. e)Ease of withdrawal of freeroll winnings. Are there any funny restrictions? Thanks all!

I do not normally do the public donkaments, but Carbon runs them every few hours. I am not sure of the avg number of players, I am mentioning it because you are getting there with your post count to qualify for the freeroll club, and we run private freerolls on Carbon. It is also easy to cash out of Carbon once you verify ID, it is actually harder to get to transfer to another player. Good luck!

I did this same thing a month ish ago (trying to find a new poker site, that is) and I came to find that Carbon was the best option for me. I've haven't had much time to play lately, but I won $2 in one of the CC freerolls trying to build a roll from scratch as well. Of course I lost it at a cash table within an hour, but that happens. I recommend Carbon because of the vast amount of freerolls it has per day, but I do like your idea of compiling a good post for all on the topic. Thanks and good luck!

OK, so not many people have responded, and none have answered the questions (I still appreciate the feedback) so here's 1 from me: a)Doylesroom.net b)Yatahay Poker Network (please correct me if I am wrong) c)3AM and 4AM (EST) - $25 total prize pools. d)Seems to be 200-300 players. e)No experience withdrawing yet.

re: Freerolls on US Friendly Sites poker I came looking to this topic because I had the same question. Only I went through a bunch of sites before I wanted to ask. Anyone whom says Carbon is a viable Freeroll tournament site is wrong. They run like two free rolls a Day, its a 5k person tourny and only top 24 get anything (which sucks hard when you get 27th) And the Funstep program (reminiscent of FTP's steps program) also sucks, though you can grind yourself into a buck (oh woot a whole dollar!) I've been trying cake as they have some different options, but it gives me troubles and is also lame. I tried bodog, it has a point system that is close to FTPs but its free rolls are like one a day and pay poorly (who wants to try and build a bankroll when half your winnings are only useable on tournaments?) Nothin compares close to what FTP had, I could find easily 10 freerolls a Day there, I'm lucky to find any site that has 3. If anyone has a solid site please say. But I have a strong suspicion the FBI purposely took out all of the actually user-friendly sites on purpose. You can only play poker online in the USA if its a pain in your ass.

all times are Carbon room time: 00:00 - NL Holdem - usually gets around 3500ish entrants 06:00 - NL Holdem - gets around 2500ish 12:00 - Limit HORSE - gets around 3000ish 18:00 - PL Omaha Hi - gets around 3900ish 20:00 - NL Holdem - this one consistently maxes out with 5000 ppl... those are the daily freerolls on carbon...they are usually VERY frustrating and the payout structure is pretty much worthless...only top 4 players get cash ($5, $9, $14, and $18, for 4-1 respectively), and everyone up to 24th gets a satellite tournament ticket...basically, if you dont make it to the final table you just wasted time because the ticket u get for placing between 10-24 is almost useless...the $11 ticket for 9th to 2nd is a little more useful, and the $33 ticket for first is actually really good...theres a daily 6k guarantee u can enter with it which is an awesome tournament if you do well in it...basically it comes down to how much ur willing to really grind it out at the micro-est of micro stakes...if ur serious about doing it, then by all means go for it and you might b able to make something of it...otherwise it will just frustrate you beyond measure to bust ur ass for the whole tournament just to get a stupid ticket and mayyyybe a few dollars to go play .02/.06 with and hope variance doesnt rape you right off the bat....best of luck to u |
