| The best way to do it and this is how i did it is to build up play money to 500k at least. Then enter the 500k play chip freerole which usualy pays $2 to around 1/3rd of the field and a little extra to the winner and runner up. Do this till you have atleast $10 then and then i would play 1cent 2 cent cash. Until you really get up there. I used this method and reached $520 on full tilt |

I took the lazy way and deposited, lol. Also Jakeras, when you reach the required posts you should play in the CardsChat freerolls. Tough competition, but the fields are much smaller than your normal donkament. Good Luck! |

| I've also started building from freerolls and I can tell you there's very little value in the open freerolls on the major sites. You should however, stay tuned for special restricted freerolls you may qualify for through promotions. For instance, during the WSOP Full Tilt ran a fantasy poker game where they were awarding entrances to 1K freerolls (one per each WSOP event). Those were real bankroll creating freerolls, they had fields of 400-500 players. I owe my current bankroll to that promotion. And you should definitely check out the Cardschat private freerolls. |

| Hubbles is pretty good! Go to tournaments, regional, and there are some good freerolls on there. Also during the pokerstars million dollar challenge on tv they always give a password to a tournament that if oyu take first its 20 million bucks, cant beat that for free haha. |

| re: Freeroll tournaments I should be playing? poker Go to the private tournament section of each site, you'll find tons of freeroll tournaments there, most of 'em will be "Go to XxXxX.com for the password", go to those websites do whatever they ask you do and you'll get the pass. It'll take some time but i'm sure you'll be able to build a roll with solid play and some luck. |

| I believe in the PSO league at pokerstars as a good way to get a bankroll started. I took a $5 and $15 monthly league cash prize and turned it into a BR approaching $500. And if your II cote II, you don't have to play anything else, he's a PSO league beast. You have to pass the core test to be able to play. They also have the NAPL, tournaments regional. You can freeroll a ticket into anyone of the 3 divisions in the nightly freeroll, or they constantly pop up 27 player sng's. |

| Sounds like Full Tilt is a good site for free rolls but, it's not open to US players. I play the free rolls on the "playaces" site. It is a site for poker linked with sportsbook.com. It is fairly reasonable to cash once you get deeper in. For sure, there are alot of "psychos", "crazies", "collusionists", etc. But, it appears there is no way to get away from them. They have a promotion, i will try this coming week. If you make a bet on the monday Night Football game, you get to be in a $500 or $1000 freeroll. Last week it had about 75 players. Like those odds, check it out! Look for me, nickname= renowl69. |

| Another option to go from "freeroll to bankroll" is to find the free poker bankroll sites that can provide you with as much as $50 if you use their link to download the poker software. Google those keywords ("free poker bankroll") and you'll find the sites. I did this and got $$ for Doyle's Room and Carbon. Of course, I did this early on and managed to lose all that money! Important to note: I'm pretty sure you get this mainly on the smaller sites that are trying to find customers. The money is only offered if this is your first time signing up for a particular site. Check the fine print because there is probably a requirement for amount of hands played and over how much time to release the money. I'm no expert in these deals and so I don't know if there are other catches that could get you. YMMV but it could be worth a try. |

| FT's public tourneys are so freakin' hard to place in, but I do enjoy the Rush NLHE and Rush PLO freerolls. I used to be a big advocate of merge network freerolls, but ever since the payout structure changed, it's just not really all that worth it. They're easy enough to place in (merge competition is just really, really soft in my experience), but to play for 3 hours just to get a $2 or $11 satellite ticket really bugs me. I usually try to play in the satellite freerolls that FT offers for the Daily Dollar and Ferguson tournaments -- The Ferguson satellite is nice. Turbo, 2700 limit, and top 100 spots pay $1 tourney ticket. Not a huge payday, but it'll get you into something that could build your bankroll a little further, and it's not a huge time sink. Daily Dollar satellite is a super turbo (300 chip starting), so it's a little more of a crapshoot, but it's not impossible to cash in it, though it is still a large field (7500), but top 200 get entry in that one. If you're into PokerStars, though, the PokerSchoolOnline (PSO) skill league tourneys are the way to go -- if you work your way up through the leaderboard, the payout is well worth it, especially if you're an 'active' player by their standards (I think 20 fpps are required in the last month). The individual freerolls don't pay more than a couple of bucks each, though, so if you're not grinding for leaderboard position, it may not be for you...just my thoughts, though. |

Haven't had the opportunity to play in one yet but this will be one of the better freerolls to get into. |

| I look forward to getting invited to the CC Freerolls. It will be a pleasure to play with some folks that are actually trying to get better and enjoy a good game of poker. Although, I signed up over 3 years ago. Just now really getting into the online game. But, I have definitely put in my time at the casino's and brick and mortar poker roooms! |

| re: Freeroll tournaments I should be playing? poker If you are going to play freerolls you must remember the first hour is all in any two cards will do suckouts. If you play tight and get past that you have a good chance but just know at most sites freerolls last for hours.
