free money from full tilt for collecting points

i have a few questions i have had a few things happen which i assume other people have run into i logged on today i saw a msg that said if u get 5 or 10 ftps u get a free $5 to try rush poker. I thought if i check my email their will be a msg with more details i didn't see anything. I am wondering if anyone has had this offer and didn't get a msg. I got a bonus offer before if i get 1 ftp i get a entry to the blt i did so and got entered into the tourney. but their was a msg in my email saying u will be entered like 2 hours after and stuff. I am wondering if i actually got the offer or if my front screen was lieing.

FT are promoting their new format $5 's is nothing you will probably pay that just in rake in half an hour? crap game forget about what you know you just play the cards or fold very fast.

You are playing purely on your cards. It all luck and a crap shoot. There is no reading the players at all, it is just a quick way for FT to bring in the Rake and also have a new gimmick to bring people into the poker room

no i am asking if anyone else got this offer and if they did did they get a msg to their email or not it has nothing to do with playing good cards or bad cards

I get the message all the time while online, it just pops up while online with them, but not in any email. I ignore it, as not interested in rush poker. Didn't bother looking to see if I could earn this during happy hour either, just not interested. In fact I thought you had to earn the 5 or 10 pts at rush to get the $5. NLHE is probably the only way available, and not my game, at least not for cash.

this is legit. i got the message and went for it. fairly easy to get the points(its 10 btw), took about 10-15 mins. i actually ended up getting 20 points before i quit. there is an expiry date for this promotion so make sure yours havent expired yet.

just play the tight ABC and u should be fine and collect the $5. i ended up losing .35 in the session(tried double barreling AK, haha) but if not for that i would have been up. got the $5 bucks and havent played since. im not rolled for 10nl anyways but i think they now have 5nl in the rush format, i dont know if this offer applies to that level.

i wouldnt worry about the blinds as your bound to get a decent hand at some point. just buy in for $5 at the 10nl(only this one time, other then this you should always buy in for $10). they will send u the money about an hour after u get 10FTPs.

U can't get FTPs on other players hands, but only on Urs. That means that all the FTPs U collect R made on hands U R in. That game is pure gambling, and at least I won't play it at all.

No. You get FTPs on any hand you are dealt into. And, in Rush, you are dealt into a ton.

You don't have to play Rush if you don't want to. It's not pure gambling, it's poker by the cards/position with less playing the players (although the games are not so big you don't run into a lot of the same folks over and over.) It doesn't suck, and can be profitable.

I'm pretty sure you get the points from every hand you're dealt, even if you quick fold and are not there to see how big the pot got. At FT it's not calculated by how much rake you paid, but how much rake the hand took in. I tried it just for the $5. The points came as fast as the hands. My $12 went just as fast, for a net loss of $7. I won't be playing it any more. No image, no reads, just blind poker on crack. It is what it is.

I just finally gave in and completed this too - didn't take very long, maybe half an hour at 0.02/0.05. Buy in short if you're concerned about blowing money, and you'll probably end up even with tight ABC poker.
