Free buy in for next CC Carbon game!

If it wasn't for Cardschat I would have never went from $0-115+ in one month. From my $40 freeroll wins then taking 3rd in the last buy in I owe most of my new BR at my new site to CC. Anyway going to try to give back a little and pay someone's buy in to next Carbon game this Thursday, May 19th at 9:00PM EST I think. The $5.50 will be transferred to first person who meets the following requirements:

1) Member must have 1000 post(may lower # if I get no takers)

2) Must be able to play in game. Don't take the money if you don't know you can play for sure.

3) Must be bank roll challenged! Please don't take this if you have money to buy in to event or if you have a bigger roll than me lol.

4) Do not pay me back if you win! Use money to build a proper BR then pay it forward. Don't feel pressure to win just play your best game.

5) I will transfer money to first eligible on Thursday.

Please someone correct me if I have wrong date and time. First come first serve.

No they dropped it. I am not sure when, but I was able to transfer 5 bucks to a friend.

Wow that's a very nice and interesting thing you are doing here! I'm way short on post but I think this could be a great thing to continue you know being what's all has happened with online poker lately. It's a good moral booster! So noble of you to give back to CC too. GL

I'll ship it to Poker Orifice and trust he will play in it. All I ask is that if you win or build enough of a BR at Carbon do the same for someone else. I will try to do some more of these when I get an extra five bucks here and there.

If your account isn't validated, you can't transfer on carbon, unless they changed that recently.

Edit: Yeah I can't transfer. Just emailed support so will try to get sorted out by Thursday. If not there is always next week.

Go to Player Admin from the poker client. Brings you to your account on the web site. On the left, click Support to expand list, click Account Verification. It tells you what to do.

Well if no one else wants to take it, then I will play for it Jimmy. I have an extremely limited BR on Carbon(have only used it for CC games in the past). Having most of my money locked up on Tilt, I haven't wanted to deposit much anywhere until I know that's secure.

Isn't 115 to little of a roll to be playing $5 buy in games? I think fergureson used the guideline of 100 BI...50 at least.....Just saying

Thanks Jimmy. Well, here's the thing. If we can get it straightened out by this Thursday, then I'm in, but if not, then I'll give it up to whomever else wants it because next Tuesday I'm heading down to Austin, TX for my wedding, so next Thursday I will be busy with crap down there and therefore won't be able to play. I'll PM you my Carbon SN just in case for this week though.

If it doesn't work out with hamm you should give it to that guy who recently had to take all his poker money offline to pay bills. That would be a nice gesture. Not sure on his post count though.

1) Yeah I hope I get it in for this week's tourney.

2) Not too worried about BRM when it comes to private tournies. If needed I can bounce back from as little as $20 with no problem. Just want to help others (from U.S. especially!) get to the point I am at. Unfortunately most of my money is tied up at FTP at the time so just trying to help a little.

This site has been here for me and just looking to give back a little. Kinda makes me feel good and that's something money just can't replace.

Just want to let everyone know this isn't the last time I plan to do this. I haven't been playing much at all but as long as I make a decent profit I plan to do this 2-4 times per month. As we go on and I start giving different people chances to build BR, the post count is likely to drop after awhile. So all those with lower post count keep on posting and one day it may be you.

Also want to thank all the people thanking me as this really does make me feel good. Since I haven't been posting too much strategy and what not this is one way to give back to the poker community who has helped me to get back into the swing of things since black Friday. CC is an awesome place and just want to show my appreciation.

I don't really want to sound all vagabondish and all, but I'd love to have a chance at turning a small stake into a BR over at carbon, so I'd like to apply for a future charitable contribution! I know I'm like 500 posts short of your post count reqs but I just wanna get in line. I'm not sure how the system at carbon works but I've never deposited so I'm not even sure if I'm eligible to recieve any transfers. Not being able to play anything but freerolls is so painful.

Unless if things have changed, you may want to get live chat support on this, I had to send in documentation to verify my account, make a minimum deposit, and wait 3 weeks from the deposit date. This was not to withdraw, it was to transfer, I had won a CC buy in and wanted to transfer funds.
Good luck, this was a year ago, so anything could have changed.

I'll try live support shortly as I have no reply after giving them all documents requested. Don't look like I will be able to transfer for this game(sorry) but maybe by next. Support at Carbon is going the way of FTP. Not a good sign IMO.
