First time today..

well guys, this was my first time playing at a casino ( hold'em )
I always thought you needed to bring a lot more for the buy in. But it turned out $60 would do you find at 2-4 table.

I was down aprox $100 when I decided to risk it all and pulled a HUGE BLUFF, I won about $65 from the pot, flipped my 2 8 off suit over and left. Everyone was seriously pissed lol it was great

so I ended up losing $35 which isn't bad considering i was almost down $100. A buddy who came with me lost about $60...
all in all pretty good first experience.

How was your first time?

btw I play a lot online/with friends also play the other games at the casino.

Wow that's pretty good considering it was your first time.

I really can't remember the day but I know I lost some money and from then on decided to play it a bit more safe and with lower bets until I had a clue how to win.

My first was also at a 2/4 table. The Flamingo in Vegas. I had ben playing in cash games aound town for a couple years before and had read a lot of books so it wasn't so intimidating. I think I ended up around $25 ahead. The coolest part about it was that I had just turned 21 a couple of days before and was taking money off of grizzled old men who expected me to be an easy mark. The friends I was with got sick of waiting for me to finish playing and I had to quit after about 1.5 hrs, so that we could get back to getting waisted and blowing money on craps.lol

First time playing for money was at Tropics. Freeroll got me $7.00. I was thrilled. Turned that into over $700.00.

Geeze, after rereading, I realize you were talking live game. Duh. So, start again, first live game action was at Flamingo in Vegas. $1-$4 7 card stud. Won $30 - thought I was great. Little did I know. LOL

My first time was great profit for coming in with $60 and leaving with $280. It was $2/$4 limit so there wasn't any chances to bluff really.

It was fun wasn't it. Playing cards live seems unreal when your used to play on a computer. I remember the 1st time I went to my local Casino about a year ago. I was just to be sitting next to real people and being dealt cards. I even came out ahead my 1st time too. It was a $1/$2 table. I still feel that sensation when i go there.
