First time Depositing , Got suspended. is it safe to show CC number? Hi i wanted to use my credit card to deposit but it failed alot of time and suddenly my account got suspended and was asked to provide credit card details and personal documents. here is my question: is it safe generally to show credit card details to them? I know i should cover up the security number, but should i cover up the rest of the credit card number except for the last 4 numbers? Is it even safe to show my credit card to them? Thanks.

sites integrity varies I would first stick to only the big sites or names you can trust. You really should ask these questions to your bank rather then some online forums. I am not from America so do not know how secure or safe it is to provide such details. Ask your bank.

On which site did you want to play? That's a pretty important information missing from your post, OP. That, and your credit card number, of course. How can we assess if it's safe to give out your number if we don't know what your number is? Seriously...

re: First time Depositing , Got suspended. is it safe to show CC number? poker If you already tried to deposit, then the site already has access to all of the information that you provided while trying to make the deposit. That includes things like your name, your credit card number, the credit card expiry date, possibly the security code and the address and phone number attached to the credit card. From the account creation information you provided, they might also have your date of birth and your SIN or SSN number. If you were truthful about the information you provided, then hiding any of those things from them at this point would be counterproductive.

re: First time Depositing , Got suspended. is it safe to show CC number? poker Also perhaps if you are paranoid you can setup a special bank account for only gambling. That way if you are so concerned about a poker site having your CC# the damage would only be limited to one bank account. Debit cards work for me but it varies over time. In other words, sometimes my bank of america visa debit card works, then many months later it doesn't, etc Also you might try Netspend I hear they work again on poker sites even though they said they were going to stop allowing that (the Poker sites must have found a new corrupt payment processor) My charges always are aligned with some fake business when I look at the charge in my online banking; they come and go in this business apparently all the time

Full Tilt is safe and so is PokerStars and Carbon. They are just being safe making sure that the card belongs to you

re: First time Depositing , Got suspended. is it safe to show CC number? poker Be sure it is FullTilt though, and not someone impersonating them. Phising sites, for example, are hard to detect and can be very dangerous. Only give out your info if you're 100% sure it's them (a point missed ITT).
