First Casino Tournament Whats Up Everyone. It's Been A While. So, I Went To The Casino A Few Hours From My House The Other Day, And I Got My First Experience Playing Casino Poker. I Was A Little Irritated That The Ring Game Was Only Limit Hold Em With 2/5 Blinds, But I Was More Irritated That All Of The Hands That I Hit On Were Outdrawn By Longshots. I Guess That's The Nature Of Limit Hold Em Though. I Played Solid, But Managed To Lose $65 Because Of All Of The Horrible Draws That I Was Against. I Entered The Nightly NL Freeroll, Which Had 45 Entries. I Felt Good About My Chances Going In To The Tournament, And Was Encouraged To Find Out That Some Of The Players I Had Played In The Ring Game Bet Dinner That I Would Win The Tournament Because They Were Impressed With How I Played In The Ring Game, Despite The End Result. 3 Hours Later, I Won The Tournament And $400. Not Bad For My First Time Playing In A Casino.

re: First Casino Tournament poker Good job! I'm reminded of a quote from Star Wars (1977): [Luke blows up his first TIE fighter] Luke: Got 'im! I got 'im! Han Solo: Great, kid. Don't get cocky.

Yeah, it's at Crown - December 15 at 12:30pm: Aussie Millions Warm-Up Weekend It's really a rebuy tournament - just your initial buy-in is free, and rebuy players there thrown $50 notes around the same way people play $2 rebuys online. I might play it, I think a few friends of mine are going to do it for a laugh. Don't really have the budget to support loads of rebuys though, so I wouldn't be playing an especially good game.
