| I just feel that all the sites have us US Players by the shorties and they know it. A couple of months back I saw that CC was promoting BetOnLine for US players so I opted to throw 300 in getting the 300 matched to bet with. Over a month or so I made between 100 and 200 in bets via their Bookie side and won maybe $2500 on the poker side. So I decided to withdraw 500 as a start to get the ball rolling. lol I get a note telling me basically I need to wager another $4,000.00 on their Bookie side before I can make a withdrawal. lol Problem is I only bet games for shits and giggles, this will take me forever. The moral of my story is to read the fine print concerning "free $ matches" before committing any serious $ to a site. ************************************************** ********* Hello Chris Thank you for your email regarding your payout request. Upon reviewing your request I see that you have not met the rollover associated with your freeplay. You must wager a further $3,860 prior to making your withdrawal 1. Roll Over:[300{Dep8/15/11}+100fpg]*10=$4,000 2. Action Given: $140 ro not met Thank you for your co-operation and please don’t hesitate to get back in touch if you require any further assistance. Kindest regards Daniel M. The Payment Team www.betonline.com ************************************************** ********* . |

| I have been watching this thread as I like Betonline..... however combined with the software issues I have been VERY concerned about that and now the withdrawal / deposit issue. Has ANYONE had any success on withdrawing money on this site ? This poor guy obviously is having some issues and to be honest the charges they are asking for the withdrawal is insane. |

| Is that for real? ANYWHERE that expects you to pay to withdraw money is a rip off and just down right disgusting. I never play anywhere that charges for withdrawal and charges is the first thing I check out, but these charges are just ludrcious. Someone said is this just for freeroll or normal withdrawals? If this is normal withdrawal then I'm gobsmacked to say the least. |

I guess they ar mainly a wagering site and the fine print says that if I agree to accept their matching deposit, I also agree to their ridiculous wagering commitment prior to any withdrawals. |

| Hey All... I was looking in the help section on my cashiers window on BetOnline and I came across something interesting about requesting a FREE withdrawal of money from your account: Payouts may be requested at any time via email to Payout@betonline.com from the email address you registered, and verified, at BetOnline.com Payout request emails should include your - Username - Preferred Withdrawal Method - The Amount you are requesting withdrawn. Payouts will only be sent to the address registered in the account. No third party poker payouts are permitted. Please note that the required minimum/maximums for each option are subject to change without notice. - Please allow 24 hours for your payout request email to be reviewed - Players are entitled to one free payout every thirty (30) days, via check, on Friday; if you would like to take advantage of the free check payout please specify this when making your payout request. - Payouts request emails are processed Monday through Friday, between 9:00 a.m. ET to 1:00 p.m. ET, excluding holidays. Important note: Identity verification and other documentation are often required of players. Payout request emails are not considered valid and are not reviewed until all requested documentation has been submitted, and received by BetOnline.com. So as you can see you are entitled once a month to a free payout. Granted it is extortion what they charge if you want to make more than one withdrawal in that month or if you don't do it on Friday at the right time, but at least they offer a once a month freebie. Just thought I would put my two cents in Moe. P.S. So glad I don't fall for the sign up bonus or reload bonus crap... I can really see how that erks some people! | I have come across this on a couple of sites that offer up front bonus's to match your deposit. Ones I have seen you need to turn over the bonus 10 times before you can withdraw any winnings over and above your deposit value. Small print is never easy to find when you want to deposit. |

Many sites and networks allow you one free check withdrawal per month, where you pay the fee but they reimburse it. Merge works this way, charging $15 per paper check but reimbursing the first one each month. Stars and FT also charged fees for some withdrawal types, such as wires, which is what BetOnline is quoting here. Bank wires have always been expensive for small withdrawals. So it's blatantly incorrect to make a blanket statement that "ANYONE that expects you to pay to withdraw is a rip off." |

| As mentioned above, BetOnline does offer 1 free Cashout per month if requested on Friday. I will also add that a lot of sites are now charging for Cashouts. Unfortunately, this is the times we live in. It's very difficult for these sites to get processors that are willing to process payments at ALL for US players and the ones that will are taking advantage of the issue. That being said, I would be cautious of BetOnline for other reasons. |

| I read this a while back, and have come to the conclusion that no deposits will be made from me, I did try to play their freerolls but their server is so crappy the up and down was killing me, I just deleted them from my pc yesterday, and to be honest an ready to delete all of them, we (US) are be taken advantage of because of our situation. These business are going to need us an they are just not realizing that by taking advantage of a bad situation could back fire on them. alot of online players are opting to just stop playing and go live, i live close enuf to a casino to go every other day if I choose to and it appears thats what the end result will be, at least then I can get paid immediately an not have to wait months on end for a check. |

Anytime you engage a company in establishing and maintaining a financial account, you have to provide this type of information. When you eat out, you hand your CC to the wait staff who walk away with it. It's not at all unreasonable to expect poker sites that handle millions/billions of dollars for their players to demand identity verification, especially since it's a virtual environment and not a face-to-face transaction. As long as the request is reasonable within the context of the business transaction at hand, you have to trust that it will be handled professionally. Yes a few bad apples take advantage of that trust, but the vast majority do not. Most don't stop using CCs at restaurants even though the occasionally waiter copies down the card number. We don't stop using banks just because some bad tellers have access to your SSN and all your account info. If you want to do business in the current environment, it's something you have to accept. |

| I agree in full with the last post... I have yet to see a poker site that requires no verification whatsoever. Just always do your research on the poker site and BetOnline is a reputable company. I personally have verified my account and have had no problems with withdrawing money... Usually a check comes withing 10 days of request... none of them have bounced... Just remember if you do not want to pay the outrageous fee's on withdrawal to email them on a Friday and mention "One Monthly Free Withdrawal" to avoid the fees... I have posted all of this info early on this same subject. GL on the felt! |

| Bet Online also gives payout by check by mail. But you have to take out a minimum of $500 I put in a $100 just to try it. The site is so clunky, I just wanted to leave, but they declared I can't withdraw unless its at least $500. Honestly, the worst site in every way possible. |

| re: The final word on BetOnline withdrawal poker So are they worth playing on? I haven't heard many good things about this site, but there really isn't much to choose from. I don't mind verifying my account at all. But don't want to have to go through a bunch of drama for a site that's not very good to begin with. |
