u know, it is so fn ridiculous that adults cant do what they want with their own money. most of us play low buy-in games....we are not gambling away our mortgage payments!

personally, I miss my friends from Washington who used to play small-stake private tourneys with me on FTP and pokerstars.

unfortunately, when you dont have that common interest to unite you, you lose contact with them altogether.

it sucks

well I just check out 10 websites about this and all there soures ( and same story) are from forbes website. so unless someone out there can say hey this is true, it going to take more looking in to, if it true. See if people can get more sourses then just forbes website.

Their mission: to make people play at Washington brick-and-mortar casinos and not online. Surprise: just a few days ago Washington state approved the building of the state's largest planned casino just across the border from Portland, Oregon. What disingenuous bastards.

I agree. The casino they just approved is about 20 minutes from my house but I can't play a $1 tournament online. What a joke.

I can't play on fulltilt or pokerstars but other sites I can still play on, for now.

Ugh. This must be why an email I received from Full Tilt recently explained that payouts to Washington players are currently "logistically difficult." They promised to send a check instead of the electronic funds transfer originally arranged about six weeks ago, so we'll see....
