I used to play exclusively on Full tilt, then they change rakeback structure to contributed from dealt and it drastically reduced my hourly rate. I switched instantly to Pokerstars, playing both sites at once. While I figured out the difference for myself I have now switched to Stars full time. For me pokerstars VIP program is much better than full tilt rakeback, + iron man program. It really depends on what game you are playing and what the stakes are. Stars= more player more tournaments, better interface. FT has more "fun" graphics, other than that it is a nit fest with half the players compared to stars. I hope that gives you some help.

Wherever you do sign up, absolutely make sure to get rakeback. In ring games a certain amount of each pot is taken and given to the house, and tournaments have an associated tournament fee that comes with entering. If you sign up with rakeback, you get a percentage of that payment back. In tournaments this could increase your ROI by 2-3%, and in ring games it could increase your winrate by a few bb/100, depending on the stakes. Just do a google search for "[poker site name] rakeback" and you'll find a few good rakeback sites for that poker room. Some of the sites offer huge monthly freerolls in addition to the rakeback; others offer various deposit bonuses. In my opinion your best bet would be to sign up for Full Tilt through a rakeback affiliate, just be sure to explore which affiliate you most prefer.

re: Favorite sites? Advantages? Dis? poker If you don't already have a $1,000 freeroll (http://www.cardschat.com/f31/exclusive-cardschat-1k-freeroll-full-tilt-193243/). If you don't already have a a $500 freeroll and be qualified for a drawing for a $1,050 SCOOP Main Event ticket (http://www.cardschat.com/f31/cardschat-scoop-me-rewards-pokerstars-192790/). Plus next month if you get another 100 points you can play in a second $500 freeroll with another drawing for a $1,050 SCOOP Main Event ticket. That's $3k in prize money. Note: There is no rakeback on Pokerstars so you lose nothing by using CardsChat to sign up with them.

Depends on games as well. If you play cash, then I dont know, but there are a lot of players here who can comment on that. STTs are probably weighted heavy to full tilt and pokerstars as far as volume goes, but google SnG traffic and you can get more of an idea. For multi tabling, the 2 big ones are gonna be the fave. MTTS will be another matter all together. Many smaller sites have regular MTTs with guarantees, so if that is your game, then there will be a number of possibilities. But the bigger sites have the most offers, and as stated, google can help here as well.
