I played on facebook for a while, but in the lower levels it is too frustrating. I just stick to Ultimatebet now, which is equally frustrating but smoother gameplay.

I had no idea that there was even any poker available on FB?? What's the scoop? And, like someone has already stated, why play there instead of on a regular poker site?

its only when you get to the higher blinds where sometimes you play against proper poker players
otherwise, you get people just going all in every hand which ruins the game.

mhm. that's why i said at the higher limits there are good players. saying it will not help your game at all is not true. you can practice pickinig up patterns in players and playing accordingly.

It may be fun, and probably a good place to play with some of your friends if you wanted. But for real money and a learning experience, I suggest elsewhere.

if your just starting out in poker its fine to play for play money. if not your just wasting your time. why not look for a freeroll where you can at least win something, and the play is somewhat real.

Like just about everyone said, the play is UNBELIEVABLY bad. Your good hands lose because everybody plays the hand and somebody hits something decent most of the time. If you raise, everybody plays and somebody hits. I played there yesterday and had some nitwit double me up as I flopped a high straight. He called me all the way down and turned over absolutely nothing. Not a pair, not a draw, not even a decent card. Complete trash that had zero chance of winning unless...well, unless nothing.

I won't say don't do it. It can be entertaining, but it's not poker. You're basically flipping coins with a bunch of random people.

what's interesting about facebook poker is that if you can accumulate a massive bankroll of the fake chips you can sell them to people for real money. My buddy just sold 150 mil in chips for $750.00....not a bad deal.

$750.00 for facebook play chips, Surely you just made this up just to get your post count up, I wouldn't bother posts like these get deleted when your posts get checked before access is given to the password section.

I am a regular poker player on facebook. From my experience I bought chips 10 cheaper from www.123chips.net and though their prices are not the cheapest, they offer very good bonuses at each purchase.

That's pretty amazing. I heard that there is a market out there for Full Tilt and Pokerstars playchips as well. There is probably some site that buys and sells fake chips for all the poker sites. It doesn't make very much sense to me because I can't think of why someone would pay money for fake chips instead of just investing that money in their real money account. I'm sure there is some reason....

I played my first session of Facebook poker.
It was terrible. Nobody folds.
I fold just about everything, get A/A, shove, and get three calls by people who don't even have Ace high. I won... but man, how is that any sort of challenge?
It's a call-fest.

Also, I don't think you have to put in a blind to play. That is, if you sit at the table you play the next hand without posting a blind. And if there is an empty seat farther away from the blinds you can stand up and sit there.

And the only way I see to reload is to stand up and sit back down (meaning you can do as much rat holing as you want).

I remember IM'ing a friend, "I am only slightly more bored than this Facebook poker is terrible."

I play facebook poker when I get really really bored, but only on occasion. The game design is no good at all, the sound sux, they don't have hot keys.

And why is it like that you might ask ?

Because they know very little about poker. It's not their specialty.

Say no to facebook poker. I don't promote it.

it's not like this. if you buy chips from other sites you buy 15 x cheaper. there are players who made so many chips so they decide to sell. but if the site don't have the option to transform earned chips in money, they sell their chips at very low rate. i prefer to buy from the ones i told you before. they sell 1 M chips with 14,99. Facebook sells 750 000 with 99.99. So it works for me.
