Face the ace Freerolls on Tilt

Sorta like the Poker After Dark Freerolls, except grand prize is a 1,000,000 and u only have to beat 3 pros, judging by the graphic in the link Phill Ivey may be one of them. So in other words a chance to get beat by Ivey on National TV! Well at least it's back to points!!!!

I just saw the ad for this on NBC Heads Up Tournament...although they did not mention the Full Tilt Connection--or I missed it

the 10 winners of the final tourney get a trip for 2 to las vegas so its not bad in that respect. no idea as to if all of them play for the money or what.

you can also buy in to the 2nd and final tourneys w/ FTPs, 200 and 2500 respectively I think

I think it's a Broadcasting companies TV show separate from Full Tilt but with Full Tilt as it's major sponsor just like Poker After Dark, giving it exclusive right to brand and promote. Here is a link

After a Few days I have to say that these are the WORST yet! I think the barage of advertising during Poker After Dark has caused a donksation to shame even the wsop giveaway!

I played one of these last night and wow! lol
I didn't play a hand for about 45 min. I doubled then tripled up after that and was one of the chip leaders. After an hour there is only like 20 or so people left so these don't last long! I'm not sure about the play in the round 2's and 3's etc. but probably about the same. Sit out for the first 30+ min donkfest and then you can almost play real poker lol

I would like to try to enter this tourney and probably win this one. But I will try my very best in order to have a decent finish. Who knows, I might be the one to play the ace in national television. Wish me good luck for this tourney.

I qualified for the 2nd round but the tourney the registered me for is tonight and I can't play in it, so I unregistered. How do I register for a different one? I posted on the FT Forum, but didn't get anything back.

I would assume that by unregistering they just give you the amount of FTPs equivalent to the buy-in. If thats the case, then you just have to buy-in directly to the second round.

I played my first freeroll last night-finished 16th. Took first in the next one. With any luck I'll face Ivey and take him DOWN!!! If there's a Cardschat hat anywhere out there I'd be glad to wear it on TV...

I won a 1st round Face the Ace tourney last night as well. So, if anyone else is going to be playing in the 2nd round late Sunday night, look me up and I'll see you there.

I only play these to unreg for the points lol. Just open the lobby, unregister, check the cashier. The buy in will be refunded in full. The only tourney this doesn't work with is the WSOP giveaway as they issue a ticket for the second round.

i love playing the 180 person sit an go for these tourneys but not the 360 person since 2 people making it in the 180 person is better than 1 in the 360 tourney.

i like multitabling at these tourneys too, one time i was playing in 10 of these 180s at a time which is pretty cool. plus if you win round 1 you can unregister and get the 100 ftps.

I can't imagine being on TV playing holdem. I would probably be so nervous I couldn't think about the game. Don't know how the pros do it.

Yeah I been playing these a little here and there.
Not to bad really,if you can make it past stage one it gets alot better.

dude, that's not a bad idea. I don't really feel like playing in to the middle of the night just to qualify for another qualifer tourney. Thanks for the tip.
