Everest Poker - Online Poker gambling site, any good ?
Hi, I'm new to on-line poker, and in another forum community from my country, that isn't directly associated with the game of Poker, but has something to do with luck games, they started doing tornaments in: Everest Poker.
Is this poker site any good ? Anyone plays there ? What do you think about: - Security - Is it reliable to play there ? I just made a small deposit there, using a "virtual" platform for VISA cards available from my bank, since I don't have a real credit card, I just wanted to experience play, I liked it, but and I don't understand how they don't seem to support PayPal, which is one of the most commonly and trusted platform to pay out there ?! I'm not an American, and I can't use this "virtual" card to receive money, they also use checks, but I'm not american and I doubt a check from an American Bank or wherever they are from, would clear here in my country... Also it comes in Dollars $ and we here have Euros €, so I would have to pay a part of the ammount to the bank to exchange it for €... Also they don't allow a person to take amounts from there, that are less than $100... (not that I would anyway, but I don't know if this is the general case with other poker sites ?!) Any other good sites that have the same style of window of play and that allow PayPal to finance and take money from the account ? Or that are more secure and reliable and trustwhorthy than Evarest Poker ? If anyone has anything to say, bad or good about this site, I would sure like to hear it ! ![]() Thanks to all that participate here. ![]() Last edited by juiceeQ : 24-01-2007 at 9:39 PM. I`m afraid I haven`t used Everest personally, though I know it has good reviews.
Paypal is not used at any poker site that I can think of. Try Neteller for a payment method which is routinely accepted at most (if not all), and which should solve your problems. You can fund Neteller in your local currency, but deposit/withdraw to poker sites in US Dollars or Pounds Sterling (depending on which the site prefers). By the way, you need to allow more than an hour for responses before you get impatient. This is an international forum and, because of time differences, there will always be a good portion of the membership asleep or out at work when it`s a convenient time where you are. Neteller is a British Bank, traded on the London Stock Exchange. It`s as legit as any institution anywhere. Some of their people have been arrested thanks to temporary insanity in some parts of the American legal system. Those of us who live in the more sober parts of the world need not worry about it.
Netellers transaction methods are many and varied. Check out their site, it`s all there. |
