I just learned of this poker variation through a home game I played in and would really like to play online. I emailed PS and it seems if they get a lot of requests it might be something they would consider adding.

I know UltimateBet had it (description here), but I can't seem to find it on the site.

Getting a new game like that would bre pretty tough without a *lot* of support. A new type of game costs a lot of money to program/develop/test. And the more they do, the more that can go wrong.

As a consumer though, I think it'd be nice to have the choice to play pineapple on PokerStars.

wow this sounds like a intresting game. I bet the pots can get very large very quickly. If there was a petition form to sing to get this game onto pokerstars then im up for it lads! Nowt like dabling in a new game to burn sum cash off lol.

Maybe it would be easier to ask Ultimatebet to bring it back since they once had the programming for it. I wonder why they ditched it. I would play it no matter where they offered it. s it stands the only place I can play it is on my hightstakes poker game for Playstation 3

You can play online (obv no money) and play in tourneys against computer controlled opponents, as few as 6 up to 200, so it actually isn't that bad. Finding out that it had Pineappkle makes it my new favorite place to play non money games.

If PS or some other online site brought pineapple on I would most likely go back to not playing this again

For 10 bucks it was worth it.

One of the mods over at FTP forums said that the XML file for the FT client has the word Pineapple in it almost like a placeholder for the game. Hopefully this is a sign that the game is coming soon.

Pineapple, and specifically Crazy Pineapple are a LOT of fun.

Hope Poker Stars has it soon..they got some funky games there already, such as Badugi, so I'm hoping they take the leap into P and CP.

It's an ideal game if you want a change from Hold'em, but you are still a little intimated to play Omaha in a Card Room/Casino.

Because calling it "Watermelon" would just be silly.
