| here's the reply i got Hi, As you have heard, the Alderney Gaming Control Commission (AGCC) has suspended Full Tilt Poker?s license with immediate effect, subject to a formal hearing late July. Full Tilt is in ongoing discussions with the AGCC with the aim of rectifying the situation as soon as possible, therefore re-enabling real money play on the site. Unfortunately, until this is resolved Full Tilt Poker is unable to facilitate any play, and this includes deposits and withdrawals. Full Tilt Poker are deeply sorry for this inconvenience and will update you as and when there is further information available. Thanks, Sandra Full Tilt Poker Support |

| It's the same reply that everyone is getting who's email actually makes it through to FTP (I tried sending two emails, neither of them got through). I'm trying to think positively about the FTP situation. Things sounding fairly decent that we'll be playing on FTP some day (hopefully sooner than later). I for one will play there again if &/or when I'm able to log onto their site. FTP has always been my favourite online poker site. |

Simple fact is there is nothing more that anyone from Full Tilt can tell you right now and having them speculate on what might happen in random e-mails to random people would be an even stupider idean than saying nothing, DUCY? |

You want a deposit reversed. Their e-mail says their deposit and withdrawl systems are shut down right now. I'd have thought that pretty comprehensively addresses your query? PS: a better move would have been to contact the credit card provider, not the site that's doing the charging. |

I am indeed going to contact the bank, but I'm also considering suing Full Tilt so they can be punished for their unethical behavior. And just curious, why are you defending these scumbags? Are you a Full Tilt employee? |

| re: email FT poker ROFL - no, I'm not a Full Tilt employee. I'm just a player with money stuck on there, same as you. What I'm curious about is why you think you should be treated any differently to anyone else*. If you'd made your deposit the day before the shutdown would you still be compalining? What about somebody who had brought the cashier window up and was about to make a withdrawl when the shutdown came into effect, do you think they should be allowed to have their money sent while the rest of us are stuck in limbo? By all means though, lawyer up and pursue this. Keep us posted, I'm sure the results will be hilarious. Or you could just wait patiently like the rest of us. * it's a rhetorical curiosity BTW - I don't actually care. |

| The key consideration is whether they continued accepting deposits after they became aware that they were going to be shut down. If they did, then they were committing fraud and should pay punitive damages. That applies whether the deposits were made 30 seconds before the actual shutdown, as mine was, or five years before the shutdown. It all hinges on when they found out they were going to be put out of business. I'm sure my credit card company will reverse the deposit once they find out that the charge was placed one day after Full Tilt had ceased operations. That's not the issue. The issue is Full Tilt's malfeasance and generally bad character. They need to be punished. |

| Read my posts more carefully, gang. I'm CONSIDERING getting an Alderney lawyer. I haven't decided that I'm actually going to do it. Before I do, I'll make sure that Full Tilt ends up being stuck with my legal expenses and pays punitive damages to boot. |

| "Facepalm" A poster here has come to my attention in other threads. I wont make it a personal attack, he will know who I mean. Tip to you buddy: Many of the sarcastic and frankly immature responses you give are to posts that are genuinely trying to give you information, even if it is in a "wake up and smell the coffee" type of package. And I have a request as well: You seem to want to take issue with responses rather than actually gain information. This is a fine forum (as I have mentioned to you in another thread) Please be a fine contributing member or take you aggression some where else...... Dont get me wrong, I find it totally legitimate if you disagree with any post or answer to a post, it is your "style" that irritates me. It is possible to disagree with anything here in a polite way. |
