I played last week and made $5 playing Omaha. I'm terrible at Omaha, but I pretty much folded my way there. I think I won two pots, and lost about half of that to about 3-4 that I played and lost.

It's one of the juiciest freerolls I've seen.

Whew, that was a tough $5. I guess Pot-Limit is a bit different than no-limit, since you can't go all-in quite as easily, the donks didn't go out quite soon enough. I think I finished around 170 or so to get the money. But it wasn't quite as easy as it seems.

Right around 300, I was forced all-in on the big blind I think they were somewhere around 400/800 - guess what I get dealt? 73o - ouch - I'm gone. Flop comes no help, the turn pairs up a 7, on the river - TRIP 7s! I think that's the worst suckout I've ever been on the good side of. Brought me up to just over 1800 chips and I was able to ride it out.

Thanks again for the tip on the (maybe not so) easy $5!

Yeah the $500 is not easy to get thats for damn sure, top 5 out of 140. I believe it is only for Canadians and Americans only. I just made the money in the pot limit hold em.

Looks like they're running PL Draw and PL Holdem starting tonight. Since there are two different types of games, can we win $5 at each or do we have to choose one or the other this week?

Also the $3,000 freerolls tomorrow are for joining the PPA as a free member. I'm sure the fields will be big, but you're supposed to be limited to one event only as it's a drive to increase membership in the PPA.
HOW DO I JOIN THE PPA? I tried "ppapoker.com", and didn't see a join section- only links to PS, which I am already on. Thanks

Let me warn those of you who've sat out to make the money previously....It's not going to work this time...I don't know what the difference is, but I actually had to win a few hands this time to make the money..and then almost didn't make it...GOOD LUCK!!!

Are you guys playing in multiple tourneys of the same kind? I played in one Draw tourney a couple days ago and now when I try to register for another, it says each person may only play in one tournament of each kind?

Wow, people really have no idea how to play draw poker.

After missing last week's Can vs US game (stupid, stupid), I played my first game of online Draw Poker, and made it to the 2nd round game. Honestly, I was the only one at my table betting preflop for the longest time. I also got dealt a full house, which I'm guessing doesn't happen very often in draw.

That makes $20 in winnings so far, so I'm really liking these freerolls. Hopefully, I can win a seat on Team Canada and guarantee myself a cool $500.

well, i busted out kinda early in the draw tourney. never have been very big on draw anyway. missed the cash by bout 100 spots, i think. shoulda just sat out after the 4th or 5th hand when i had doubled the starting chip count, but thats what i get for being the ultra aggressive one at my table.
