| No, that's at tilt. I read somewhere they may be making some changes in how they calculate soon, but right now you don't get any fpp at a micro ring game until $8 pot...so all the rake you pay on smaller pots doesn't count. At sng and mtt you may actually be getting a better deal than higher stakes though b/c of rounding. .10 rake = 1fpp, .20 = 1 fpp, I think you get 2fpp for .25 even though that should round down. .40 = 2fpp .50=3fpp. fpps are just worth a fraction back on the rake you pay though, so don't go out of your way looking to pay more rake to get fpps . I guess 1.10, 2.75, 3.30, 6.50 are best deals for lowest rake/highest fpp at micros. Last edited by D'wilius : 12th January 2009 at 6:00 PM. |

1. Earn FPP credits for cash game play First Frequent Player Point (FPP) is awarded for playing a hand in which the rake reaches: $0.40 for fixed limit poker games with stakes $1/$2 and lower $0.40 for NL/PL poker games with blinds $1/$2 and lower $0.40 for "1-on-1" poker games (this applies only to "1-on-1" tables, not to regular tables which have only two players seated) $1.00 for all other games Second FPP is awarded for playing a hand in which the rake reaches: $2.00 for all 6-max tables (this doesn't apply for games being played 6- handed at 10/9/8 player tables - just 6-max tables) $3.00 for all other tables Third FPP is awarded for playing a hand in which the rake reaches $5.00. |

| Don't be too disappointed about no FPP's at micro limits and those offered at Full Tilt Happy Hour. FT doesn't even have micro limit tables. Full Tilt gives their points away like water. By comparison, a logo baseball cap on Stars is 600 FPP's. On Full Tilt, their logo cap is 4,000 points. A Stars 10 FPP tourney has a $500 cash payout to a standard prize structure, held numerous times each and every day. Full Tilt's 20 FPP (the lowest fpp buy-in I know of) pays ONE ticket to a satellite to another tourney. Any (few) added prizes are in more FPP's, not in cash. Higher FPP buy-ins on FT give you ONE entry to another satellite, but even MORE FPP's for less than 1st place. If you're a 'micro stakes' player with a small bankroll, there are no magic formulas for striking it rich with FPP's. At least at Stars FPP games they pay in cash, not more points. There are bigger FPP buy-ins on the weekends and they pay even larger cash prize pools, not points. Nothing 'wrong' with Full Tilt and their point system, just makes a difference in what you plan to do with your points, the actual 'value' of each point and what you will get in return for using them. |

MTT rakes can award points because you have paid a buy-in rake, whether you ever play a hand or not. |

| I play a lot on PS at the $0.05 / $0.10 NL tables and though not fast eventually the FFP's do add up. Selecting a table with a high percentage of post flop callers helps as they tend to have higher pots. good luck, good profits and good fun |

FPP's awarded. Here's the e-mail I received from them today: Hello xxxxx, Thank you for your email. If you have contributed any money to the pot and the pot's rake reaches enough to award FPP's then you will receive the appropriate amount of FPP's. It dosen't matter how much you put in the pot or when you have folded. If you have contributed to that pot you will be rewarded with FPP's. If there is anything else we can help you with, please email us again at any time. Thank you for choosing PokerStars. Regards, Andrew PokerStars Support Team So I stand corrected on the folding issue, but only if you have put anything at all into the pot. |

I really think that person worded that wrong because unless they JUST changed that it has always been that you just need to be sitting at the table to get FPPs. That's how people who 24 table and just nit it up rake in the FPPs. |

Hello xxxxx, It appears that I have recently provided you with some incorrect information. I would like to apologise for this as this was my interpretations of our policies. Briefly, you don't need to contribute money to the pot to receive an FPP, you will still be eligible for FPP's if you are dealt into a hand and decide to fold. As long as you are dealt into the hand and don't leave the table before that hand finishes you will receive the FPP's equivalent to that pot size. More information on our Frequent Player Points system is best viewed at: http://www.pokerstars.com/fpp/#earn If there is anything else we can help you with, please email us again at any time.
