Duplicate Poker out of Business Just received word that Duplicate is going under. I checked out their website this morning and sadly its true. Here is what they have listed on their homepage: Dear players, Duplicate is sadly bidding farewell to its players. Caught in the middle of the global financial situation the company is not able to continue to provide service. We are a small victim of the global financial crisis. Regretfully as of the today, October 5th, 2008 we are closing our service. We thank our players for being with us. Hopefully at later time and in a better economic climate Duplicate Poker will re-appear. Sincerely, The Duplicate Poker Team Customercare@duplicatepoker.com note: They are still accepting withdrawls so don't worry if you have money still in your account

duplicate poker Yes, it appears the option for a withdrawal, but are you sure that tey'll pay? I had 750$ in my account. I'ved requested a withdrawal 2 weeks ago and they've said that tey'll make a bank wire transfer... I'ved sent them yesterday an e-mail to ask about my withdrawal but they didn't answered. Do you think that there's any chance that I receive my money?

re: Duplicate Poker out of Business Credit crunch claims another victim, will Pokerstars be next? LMAO Fair play to them for having a go, but the site stank to high heaven. Hopefully Cardschat will remove / has removed the glowing Duplicate Poker review.

I should have posted this a fair few days ago, when I found out - didn't even cross my mind. Could have been some breaking news. Anyway, I had pulled the review down a while ago Rob. It's a shame that they had to close down, it wasn't for everyone but I knew some people at the company and they were good people with a lot of experience. I agree with some of the ^ comments, a bit lame to blame the economy for a loss making venture but that was probably the perfect reason for an investor to pull out.

Dear Player, Sadly Duplicate Poker was unable to receive funding in the current economic climate. The way that it is currently set to go down is that we will be appointing a Trustee who will be in charge of liquidating the company's assets, paying the suppliers and refunding the players. It will take about 2 months where all liabilities are collected and the assets liquidated, and then in the following months money is being paid out. All players will be paid by check without exception. Please visit Homepage to submit your withdrawal request. All pending withdrawals will be considered along with the current request. The final payments will be evaluated by the Trustee. The Duplicate Poker Team

re: Duplicate Poker out of Business I hated the site but enjoyed the winnings. Total unconcerned for the players was their downfall. More then once it would takes weeks and dozen of emails with no satisfaction. Expect only part of what they owe you if you do receive anything which I doubt. My money is not their money and should not pay their bills as it is going to.

duplicate poker It is not true that Duplicate poker accepts withdrawals. I had a check of 450$ and it was not accepted... I received this check with a week before they close down What hope can I have now for the other 750 $ that I had in my account? NONE I'ved lost 1150$ because of this site... What can I say more? So, players, don't expect to receive back your funds from Duplicate Poker. This it will not happen!!!

Like i said i requested a payout on sept 12 and never got it. I think that they already knew they were going down then and just said **** it. They can stick their "we are updating our finance department so that future payouts will be faster" up their ass. More like "we are packing everything into boxes and ghostin like boiler room, sorry for the delay".
