First time I have seen these. Several Freerolls with advance notice.

And bigger than the normal $25 tourneys.

Player count has jumped overnight from the sub 1k normal to 2.5K as of this post.

I played in one (received an email from DoylesRoom re: Friday Freerolls). Folded every hand til' the end of level2, 3limpers I get AQs.. I shove.. (~20bb), next guy shoves (J8o)... first limper calls allin with 77. J8o takes it down.. 'gg'

Played a few of these the other day when they had some freeroll promo day happening on Doyles, cashed in 1 of 3 for $1.50 Micro Cash tables on that site are extremely soft though, so even if you can only make a min. cash in one of the freerolls, there's a decent chance to build it up a bit on the micro cash tables

I opened my Doyles Room, but I guess that they changed the network again.

Lol, when I clicked to open it, a message popped up saying there was an update. That's cool chinese food just showed up so I clicked OK and went to grab some food, now it is completely gone from my desktop.
I suppose I will have to find it and try to launch it from wherever it is and maybe reinstall.

Dont waste your time, the software is crap. I didn't like it at all, and they don't have a lot of high guarantee MTTs.

This is the same promotion that I referred to in another thread about True Poker offering these Freerolls. They are on the same Network and these are Network wide promotions.

Doing some work on my computer so I figure, might as well have a DoylesRoom Freeroll running at the same time (bad idea... not getting work done, lol).

5way I've got Q8o in BB.. I flop 2pr & donkbet 'POT'.. 2callers.
Turn gives me a boat & completes flush. I 'check' with intentions of shoving river (with just over a 'pot-sized' bet left to shove with).. thinking that they'll be thinking.. 'check turn, overpot river shove?.. looks liks BS to me!' (< if they actually are 'thinking'??).
I check.. MP checks.. btn shoves.. & again I slowroll winning 9k pot.

These should be pretty easy to cash in for anyone hoping to get a starting bankroll from a freeroll on Doyles - - there's a few players who seem to know how to play but many who are terrible 'ez game'
Closing in on the bubble (getting closer at least.. 48players left, Top25pd.), I've played very few hands & have actually flopped the nuts (or turned) & everytime have had players shoving on me, or betting "POT".. & calling river shoves (< that was the 'fun' part).

Played amazingly bad yesterday with results to prove it.

Played the $100 and $200, cashed in both. Best finish was 5th in the 100.

Any Axo apparently is good enough for a shove by these peeps. Good for Friday nite fun if you need to build or rebuild a roll there. I had cashed out around the time they changed networks.

Not a fan of the software, reminds me of the old doyles.

No. The FBI seized their dot com domain but they never stopped offering real money games and simply switched to a .ag domain. Cashouts never slowed or anything. I play at True Poker and was actually playing when the domain names were seized. I requested a Cashout the same day the domain was seized and like 2 hours after it went public being paranoid and received it in under 2 weeks.

For some reason a lot of people thought the FBI shut them down. The game servers were never affected and they moved their website to the .ag domain within a day or two. Same thing happened with True Poker which is on the same Network=Yatahay.

So they still take US players then ?

Finally found something about DR that irks me. Just finished first in the $75 freeroll for $20 I think, but they get rid of the game and lobby faster than you can close a window, so I have no proof.

That's the only thing you don't like about doyles? Wow. I find the software annoying at best. I so miss pokerstars and tilt replayer. Doyles has no stats showing your position or the tourney status except by looking at the tournament lobby, no tounament lobby button at the table, no avatars-hate when I get moved and have to find myself again....I'm sure there's more, but that's what jumps to mind atm.

Agree, there are lots of little things I would love 'fixed'. However, for one reason or another, I like the look and feel of the table.

I do miss the near perfection tho of the Stars and Tilt player experience. BUT ever on and forward....tally ho ....blah blah blah.....

Now at a BR of about $40 from zip on about May 1 when I found this new DR.

First win was $10, doubled that via sng's, now another double up. At this rate, by the end of the year I should be near $160, and able to play the juicier games. Till then it is the cheap sng's and freeroll fridays!

how long do these freerolls last? is there much PLO action on Doyles?

Couple of hours to win one. Typical freerolls except that in this case the prises are small, and the field understands they are rare, so the initial donk round seems to last fewer orbits.

I just checked and there are no ring cash Omaha games going at all.

Under 700 total players logged on at this moment. Should hit 3K plus later today.

Seems DR liked the response to the August Freeroll Fridays enough to continue them in September. I didn't find out till late yesterday.

They fixed some of the problems, like seat changes. Not a permanent seat change but much easier with a sit me here option at the seat you want to sit at. There looked to be a couple other fixes, but I wasn't really into playing so didn't last long.
