Doyle's room/bet usa/players only/cake/sportsbook

Does anybody know what the relationship is between these sites. They all use the same software and you can't access any of the other sites while playing one of the others. Appears to be some kind of affiliation. Doyle's Room just switched to the platform a month ago or so, which I think is unfortunate, preferred the old site.

I had the exact same question as you when DR went to the Cake network, and I also liked the old DR better. All the switch did was help prompt me to stop playing at Players Only, and I've pretty much stopped playing Cake as well.

I can't that skin they use, so I sure don't need three sites that all run it! There are enough places that I enjoy playing without them.

Doylesroom is a skin of cake poker. I had played at betus and playersonly, also skins, and only freerolls. DOYLE"S LOCKED MY ACCT AND ASKED FOR ALL KINDS OF VERIFICATION!!! Then I try to login and get locked out by Cake network itself. ALL MY FUNDS FROZEN. Idiotic customer support...We will send you an email when we send cake an email and they reply to our email. You can shove that up your friggin arse doyle you stupid fackface...This is the 3rd network in how long? The transition processes have been horrid and I cant get into my account without scanning you my ID, utility bills etc...!

Wow, Monk! I didn't have any of THOSE kind of problems-only couldn't log onto two of the Cake sites at the same time-but I only had money at PO and DR, not Cake itself, and I had only been on DR for a few weeks.

That sounds pretty ridiculous, though!


(What is the deal with the Cake skins and Eastern Europe?? At all three of those sites I seem to see a lot of players from the former Soviet Union?)

Think theater in the round.

You can enter the poker room through any of several doors, each run by a different outfit. In this case DR runs a door to the tables, but so does Cak, and Players Only, and Sportsbook, and whoever else is running that software. You can be friendly at more than one of these doors.

But once inside you will sit down at tables with players who came in through a door you may not have come in thru. So from DR, you will be sitting against Cake players, and PO players.

I have names at 3 or 4 of that particular network, but so far they seem to work very hard against allowing me to log in to 2 different sites on that network at the same time, effectively blocking me from beating myself. Aren't they a caring bunch?

I have no problem w logging in and playing at Cake poker at all,and love it!

but..Playersonly will never let me log in for some reason..So i'll just stick with Cake

2 days, still no luck after sending them utility bills, scans of ID's,etc. They say I have multiple accounts. Bull crap! I have only deposited to one site on the network - doylesroom- And only played freerolls on betus and playersonly. Yes the software was still on my computer but hadnt been used in weeks. Plus the only thing I used at doyles was the casino!! Plus my payment processor is pic-club and I have gone through extensive verification with them to even get to doyles. I just told them over the phone I am posting this crap to c-chat and all the other forums I use. Big thumbs down to Doyle's...Suck a big fat one.

All on the same network (Cake). Seperate poker rooms, but the same network and skin, which is why you can only be on one of them at the same time.

Same deal as Carbon/Poker.com(PDC)/Walker/Aced/Reefer and possibly others on, I think, the Merge Network. Can only log into one of them at a time as well. In fact, Carbon and PDC are so similar that you can play Carbon Freerolls on PDC and vice versa.

Ultimate Bet/Absolute on the Cereus Network. Same deal. Can only be logged into one of them at a time. Some of their private freerolls (Rounders Radio) can be played on either one.

Looks like Full Tilt and Poker Stars are the only independent US friendly rooms left.

Are you using the same email address at all those sites? I believe you need to use a separate email address for each room on the Cake network. Explain to them what happened and try to move the sites you care about to different email addresses.

If you run into this kind of crazy verification/ account freeze crap. Keep on calling support till you get to Charles. This guy just might help you. He resolved in 10 mins what his colleagues couldn't do in 2 1/2 days!!!! Thanks for your effort again and may Doyle's live on...And...you don't have to suck a fat one anymore Doylie.

And now we can add Poker Host, which I never heard of, to the ever growing list of Cake skins.

Yeah, that is my biggest gripe. Like you I have an account with cake/doyle/players only and bet, but you can't log on to more than one of those sites at the same time, even if you are looking to play different tourneys.

I had some issues with Doyle's as well when they changed to the new skin. Called customer service and they were most unhelpful. Eventually figured ou the issue myself.
Guess I didn't get Charlie on the line.

All these sites and more are on the same network, Cake network. You can only have one site open at a time. Same with the Merge network. This is very common.

I was able to make a no nosense withdrawal from Cake and Redstar. My payout were fast and hassle free.

You don't need different email addresses. I have Cake, Doyles, Players Only, BetUS, Third Bullet, Gutshot, and Pokerhost. All on Cake network, all the same email. You just can't log on to more than one at the same time. Even from another computer. I went to my daughters house one time and wanted to play a tourney on Cake, but had left my home computer on and still logged in to BetUS. It wouldn't let me log in.

I too much preferred the old Doyles Room on Microgaming. They switched to the Cake network so they could still allow U.S. players. All Microgaming sites are banning U.S. players now. Too bad.

thanks for posting... cardplayer didn't like all you demanding their advertiser made good on debts owed to the poker community.... they turned off all comments on his blog.

i called doylesroom today and spoke with victor. he hung up on me.

these are the types of people you will deal with if you play on doylesroom. BEWARE.
