Does th PS Software affect?

I heared some old Pokerstars player say, that the software algorithm of pokerstars diced the the winners at the beginning of the game and had let them win in the past... What do you think about that and do u still think, that the software is cheating?

In many situation i really thaught that, because the software gave players hands for going all-in and than got the players with lower hands a better hand to kick them out... I know u will think "thtas just luck" but not in this kind i saw it...

I think that if an algorithm tried to cut me up into little cubes I would never play at that site again even if I were a winner. I don't think PokerStars does that or any other kind of cheating stuff.

There are a lot of threads lately on various forums regarding cheating and rigged software (re:Absolute etc). I for one believe that Pokerstars is totally credible and would be extremely confident in their software and security measures. But something that occured to me recently and is touched upon in Pig's post above. If you thought that some kind of juicing of hands or various other urban myths relating to poker sites and their RNG's, would you still play there if you were still EV+?

I know that pigpen defends the integrity of Online Poker,
with much of a heated frenzy.

I have to side on the fact, Specific to Poker Stars,
The site has Multi-Millions of $ at risk if they were to collude 'specific'
Players. The Kahnawake Commission is constantly monitoring the activity
on the site and responds to all reports made that question the 'Suspect'
of 'ANY type of cheating'

I had an issue once when I was playing a $3.30 buy-in MTT,
Where, Just as the cards were dealt to me, and I had pkt. K-K in the BB.
My screen became all 'digitalized' and patchy like it was freezing up.
I could not see the Flop, and had nowhere on the play-area to click
CALL, or FOLD.
So I ended up getting 'Timed-out' and my hand got folded
since I didn't act after the cards were dealt on the turn.
It happened that everyone had either folded to me or just called
and I had to check the box that says fold to any bet on the lower left of the screen.
I had to sit out, reboot my PC and re-join the Game.
I emailed support, as I was playing..I told them what Tournament I was in,
what table I had been at, the time of the incident and what had happened.
I suspected that some player at my table was using a cheat program,
or used some IP hack to get into my PC..through the Game to 'perhaps' see my Hole Cards.

Support at PokerStars emailed me almost immediately.
They stated that they take all instances of 'Cheating' seriously and were
Immediately conducting an Investigation into the matter.
They also advised me to make a note of the Occurrence,
and Get Screen Shots of what was happening during the incident.
And send that to them. Which I was unable to do.
Then they stated that they would give me a response once their investigation was concluded.
I busted out of the Tournament. And was really freaked out about it.

1 Day later they emailed again telling me they were still in process.
2 Days later they concluded.
But in the end, the result was to say that there was no evidence they could find regarding a 'Compromised' Server, or any Cheat Programs in use at that point in my Event.
They suspected that it had something to do with the Server on my end.
And gave me the report ID# and what to do in the future if this happens again, and appreciated my concern and my due dilligence in reporting it.

i really dont think that anyone hacked into the computer because i would have to believe that if someone was able to hack in they would do more damamge than plying in a 3.30 tourny .dont get me wrong there is a posibliliity that someone was hacking but it is very unlikely it wwasprobably a glitch
