Does anyone like the Pacific Poker software?
Played on Pacific Poker for the first time yesterday and found the software very annoying.
Was playing in one tournament where I lost an all-in and the cards zipped by so fast I dont know what I lost to! Also found it very annoying to check out other games while playin in my current one. Anyone here play on there regularly and is there a reason? |

The graphics certainly need some work, and you will sometime get disconnected, but I have never failed to get reimbursed for a disconnect (some took some real bitchin though). It is strange my wife has a totally different software on her pc, it runs more like java and has some different options, I even redownloaded it as mine is older.. I asked one of the support techs and he said that the new version was only released to around %40 of the players as an upgrade, and to people who downloaded it in a certain time frame. The software had a lot of bugs, and was taken back to the development stages but some people are stuck with it unless they uninstall the version and download and install it over. So try that. As far as playing @ PP well I made a load of cash @ pp and my wife still is! As Xdman said they got most of there players from Casino on Net so you have a lot of “gamblers” on the site. And if you are a good poker player it should be no problem to take the gamblers for a ride at the poker table!

I can mainly only compare Pacific, Paradise and Party, but of the 3 Party, although pretty loose, is definitely the harder of the 3. Paradise and Pacific have some ridiculously loose tables... you can look at the table stats on either of them to see which tables are full of players that see virtually every flop, and then sit down at a table knowing that any hand you do play will get a reasonable pot size.

The sites graphics are really bad. If you go all in on Pacific, you will usually get clled with players holding 89 suited, usually you'll win more of Pacific then say Stars
