I was told by a friend that on FTP u can buy into a tourney with Play money and if u place high enough u can win some real money. I have been looking for it but cant seem to find it. Does any1 know if it really a tourney or is my friend messing with me. Please if u know can u let me know what time it happens and what the play money buy in is? Thanks so much

I don't play FT often, but I do remember a thread where somebody here described a weekly play money game on Full Tilt that paid real cash.

It was like a freeroll, except it cost play money to play.

The buy-in was a lot. I don't remember exactly, but it had fewer people than their typical freerolls because of the play money requitments.

40$ freeroll, 500,000 play money chips to enter
top 18 get 2$ with first getting 5$ and second getting 3$
it runs every evening, cant remember what time tho

WOW I never knew this. I porbably still won`t play it but I sire would have when I 1st got started. Ya learn something new everyday I guess.

It starts at 20:40 every day.
I dont know exactly when registration open, but is more than 5 hours before. There is always room in it.
Starts in 10 minutes today, only 43 players registered so far.

Never knew about them. I don't know about everybody else, but it seems it would take a lot of time to accumulate 500K in play chips for the one-time chance to win $5 max. Hmmm, top 18 get cash - Maybe if 18 people entered I would consider it My guess is there are a lot more than 18 entries and I have no desire to spend countless hours playing play money games to reach half a million chips. But if someone does - Good luck to'em

If only they did this on Ultimatebet. I started playing there years ago for play chips and got well over a million of em. Would be good to be able to put them to use.

Doesn't matter though. No way I could handle the grind of getting play chips from 1000 to 500000 of FT. Especially not to win $2-$5.

they have a tourney at 11:10 pm (est) in the play money section and the top 100 get 1 dollar....2700 max players fills up fast..registration at 11:00

It's at 20:40 every day. It is listed under Play Money Tournaments as a 500,000 play chip buy-in tournament.

Usualy somewhere between 50 and 70 entries.

I am totally astounded there are even that many people every day, even in the entire world, that accumulate that many play chips. I've played with play chips, and while some seem to think it's easy to just sit down anywhere, and play against morons or rank beginners, and roll right over them, I haven't found that to be the case. The varince is certainly high in the play chip SNGs, but I have managed to cash the 500K $40 tournament a total of 13 times.

You certainly have to adopt a different style of play in the play chips.

i'm with alot of others on this one....500,000 chips for so little pay out...sheeesh...would take way too long to get the chips to begin with just for one small payout
