Do not play Carbon Poker Blackjack

Ok, so this seriously just happened to me.

I am playing carbon. On a total downswing past few days. So everyones initial thoughts will be he tilted his money away on Blackjack. Well that is FALSE!

I am placing 2-4$ bets when all of a sudden the game puts down MAX bet $50
and runs on auto for like 7 hands with the dealer hitting blackjack each time. ALL IN A ROW. I am sitting there clicking on the screen and I have no control. Its running itself and in a matter of 20 or so seconds there goes my $350 bankroll. I didn't even know what to do. I immediately jumped onto the LIVE CHAT that they offer. They directed me to email support.. yeah because that will really calm me the **** down. I am so utterly amazed, disgusted, I don't even know since I have never seen nor heard of this EVER before. I needed to post this. Please don't play carbon's blackjack, in fact don't even play there at all for anything right now. This software glitch cost me over $300!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ! OMGZ I don't even know what to do.

SIDENOTE: THIS IS NOT A JOKE.

Did you get the table #, hand series, anything of that nature to expedite them looking this up? Wow. That's just...CRAZY. If it did indeed happen that way (can't see a reason why you'd make it up), then I hope you can recoup your losses.

There is no table # or anything that I could find. I immediately went to support however they didn't seem to help. It was send this to our email and our boss will look into it. This was absolutely the craziest thing. I checked my PC to make sure there wasn't any virus/ 3rd party poker controlling it and there def. is NOT. I have a truly bad feeling about this. If I can't recoup my money I will be done with Online poker/bj forever. I would never be able to trust my money anywhere.

Don't give up on it. Did you send the info to their email support? If not do it right away. Be clear and concise as to what happened. Keep me posted on this please.

Well, blackjack being -EV, the site ends up with your money anyway, so in a sense they just saved you a lot of time by taking it all in 20 seconds...

But seriously, that's quite outrageous indeed. I guess support will fix it.

Quick tip - if you want people to stop playing a particular site, you should really type your heading in capital letters!

Really odd wht happened, have you managed to find anyone else that the same thing happened too?

(p.s. 7 consecutive blackjacks? Maybe internet blackjack ISN'T random?).

lol at them saving me time. Really I am so mad I don't even know what to do. I never play enough BJ to actually lose. Usually ill set a -15$ limit and just play for fun knowing im usually losing 15. I don't expect the client to just come and scoop away my 350$ poker bankroll. I mean I was on a downswing from like 650 for the last 3-4 days. I didn't think it could get any worst.. until this? WTF?

That is really awful. I know just what you're talking about. But it's been happening to me the last 3 or 4 days on Bodog (since I downloaded their new program). After playing a short time, they would put me on "auto fold" and I couldn't get out of it. Called them many times. Nothing helped. Then last night it was acting up again. This time I hit "fold" and it put me all in. They said to just keep logging out and back in again and eventually it would fix itself. Luckily for me I was not playing real money and won't till this is straightened out. Has anyone else had trouble with the new program?

Forgot to mention, when I called last night they said, "It did that because I "May" have had a winning hand". Huh

It doesn't sound like they are too interested in giving me anything back. The first support guy tried to tell me I had autopilot on and they can't do anything.

I have been playing bodog for hours the past 5 days and have not had any problems. You might try downloading the update again.

What is "autopilot"? How does that work?

If they are replying to your emails, post their replies here.

I think you should do a proper, polite email setting out exactly what has happened. There is no point lying to them though, if you played 7 hands and the dealer only actually got blackjack 3 times, there's no point saying it got it 7 times because they can check this out.

You need to have a look at the Carbon Poker Blackjack client, to make sure you couldn't possibly have ticked the wrong box, pressed the wrong buttons etc.

20 seconds for 7 hands does seem very quick - 3 seconds per hand?

Maybe a pm to Nick would help - we have got games at CP so we should have a rep.

Finally, as per my previous post, have you managed to find any evidence that this has happened to anyone else? That would back up your case a lot.

That's one of the first things they had me do. Didn't work. Also had me update my windows, turn off my modem, shut down my computer, toss my cookies and can't remember what else. Did most of these twice. Now my computer thinks it has alzheimers.

Auto pilot, you can set a system and run it for like 20 hands, itll stop if u lose like a limit u set, or stop if u set a winning limit. i dont know why anyone would do that anyways.

They haven't answered my email yet. Any contact has been with their live chat support which has been pretty meaningless.

Please wait for a site operator to respond.
You are now chatting with 'CS Erni'
Your Issue ID for this chat is LTK11607092945X
CS Erni: Hello! How may I assist you?
premierplayr: I havea support ticket waiting on my account. its been 2 days and is very important
premierplayr: and I want it resolved.
premierplayr: I refuse to lose over 300$ dollars because of your software going wild
CS Erni: Please kindly hold on a moment while I access your records.
CS Erni: may I have the ticket id please?
premierplayr: LTK11607037222X
CS Erni: my manager has agreed to investigate this matter further if you are able to provide us with some evidence of this issue.
premierplayr: What kind of evidence?
premierplayr: its not like I had time to break out the video recorder
premierplayr: I have been griding away at poker.
premierplayr: earning rakeback
premierplayr: i am not going to go blow over 300 on like 5 hands of blackjack
premierplayr: the damn game bet like max bet 4-5 hands in a row
premierplayr: without me touching a thing.
CS Erni: Maybe something like a screenshot.
premierplayr: that shows what?
premierplayr: If there was a way to show what happened. I would.
CS Erni: whatever that will helpt to prove what has happened
premierplayr: There is no way i guess. It started doing max bet until I had no money in my account
premierplayr: it took like 20 seconds
premierplayr: like I had time to figure out what was going on and take a screen shot which would only show the table with the bets on it
premierplayr: there has to be some server log with some errors
CS Erni: unfortunately, our records shows that there wasn't any abnormalities in the games. therefore, we need you to provide us with evidence so that we may have this investigated.
premierplayr: How about the absurd betting pattern?
premierplayr: when the game took over and started throwing down maximum bets on me.
premierplayr: and ive been griding a 300-400 poker bankroll
premierplayr: and Im not about to blow it all on a 4 hands of blackjack
premierplayr: I had my account setup to be rolled for micro poker where I got rakeback and grinded
CS Erni: I am really sorry but we will require you to submit evidence before the matter can be further investigated
premierplayr: i would play small blackjack once in a while.
premierplayr: i dont know what you want me to submit. the game took over and threw maximum bets in
premierplayr: in about 25 seconds my bankroll was gone
premierplayr: and i had no idea what was going on
premierplayr: i dont know what screen shot would show this or how id have time to record this absurd situation.
premierplayr: its not like I was waiting for it to happen
premierplayr: u dont find going from liek 4 dollar bets to straight max size wierd?
premierplayr: for some1 who has been getting constistent poker rakeback
premierplayr: When I go to play your game of blackjack I dont expect some whacked out situation like this to take place.
premierplayr: Since it had never happened before obviously
premierplayr: I don't even know what to do now
premierplayr: I feel extremely violated and cheated.
premierplayr: and I feel absolutely helpless
premierplayr: I lost my whole bankroll because of some software glitch that happened in like 25 seconds and you want video evidence
premierplayr: that is absolutely just as absurd as the glitch happening.
CS Erni: I'm really sorry but we have checked our records many times and did not find any abnormalities in the games, therefore, we are unable to pursue this case unless you are able to produce some evidence for us to work on.
premierplayr: Am I going to have to file complaints?
premierplayr: because I will not let this go.
premierplayr: I was absolutely ROBBED
premierplayr: This kind of stuff is absolutely unacceptable for a poker room.
premierplayr: or online casino. or even a real casino.
premierplayr: your game should not glitch out.
premierplayr: and rob a player of over 300$
premierplayr: it shouldn't even rob them of a single cent
CS Erni: Unfortunately, we are unable to take any actions now, however, should you have any information that you wish to provide us later on, please feel free to contact us again and we will gladly look into it.
premierplayr: I will be reporting this case to the gaming commission
premierplayr: I hope they take care of this for me
premierplayr: I will also post this issue on countless internet forums.
premierplayr: I refuse to let you cheat me out of over 300 dollars
premierplayr: Thats not how you treat a customer.
premierplayr: nothing else to say?
CS Erni: Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further enquiries.
CS Erni: Have a nice day!
CS Erni: Good Bye!
Chat session has been terminated by the site operator.

Some friendly advice - drop it, you aren't going to win here i'm afraid.

They say there was nothing wrong, you can't prove there was. It's their word against yours, and any adjudicator is far more likely to believe them than you in my opinion, i'm afraid.

Sorry I can't be more positive (but I wont be playing Carbon Poker BLackjack (not that i'd ever play internet blackjack anyway)).

Is it at all possible that you accidently checked the auto box? Perhaps you were browsing other sites while playing, and when the blackjack window popped up, you unknowingly clicked it?

That is just horrible and unfortunate, but as rob has said, there is no way you can win here.
Take some time off and if you feel up to it later, come back and play poker(only), at least you have more control of your actions playing poker.
