I just got dc'd in the middle of 2 tournies I was playing (right as I got my second QQ in a row on one with a good size pot and low board) and now the forum seems to be offline as well. Been trying to reconnect to FT for the past 5 minutes with no luck so far.

Just reconnected to find myself at 10 chips in one and 690 chips in the other. The one I was left at 690 in I hadn't played a hand yet as I late reg'd and was waiting on my BB to start.... Hopefully I can e-mail support and get my buy-ins back although I'm not expecting to.

I wouldn't hold your breath about receiving a buy-in refund. When I was having connection problems one time and lost 2 or 3 buy-ins they just go through a standard process of blaming the problem on your computer, telling you to reinstall etc. Fill me in on how it goes though, it would be interesting to see if they only refund in certain situations.

I was recently disconnected from the full tilt client for approximately 30 minutes during 2 tournaments I was playing in. The Ferguson 190906452 $4 + $0.40 Rush Sit & Go 192422070 When I was finally reconnected I was left with 10 chips in the Rush SnG and 690 chips in The Ferguson (after playing in zero hands as a late reg waiting for my BB) I was left with no chance of competing in either of these tournaments due to an inadequate stack size and many missed hands/opportunities. I know this wasn't an isolated incident as I have talked with other players that experienced the same connection problem at the same time. I feel that the only appropriate response is a refund of my buy-ins for these two tournaments. Thank You ---- Hello ----, Thank you for contacting Full Tilt Poker Support. We have reviewed your account and see you experienced connectivity issues while playing on our site. We understand situations like these are frustrating. However, we have determined our servers were fully operational at the time of your disconnection, and we cannot make adjustments because of Internet conditions beyond our control. We have reviewed your play history and confirmed that, fortunately, you were able to reconnect to the software and finish your tournament. Before you connect to our software, your internet connection travels through 5 to 30 different third party poker servers, none of which are owned by Full Tilt Poker. If any of those servers are experiencing technical difficulties, your connection to our servers will be affected. When you sit at a table or tournament, you accept the potential risks playing in an online card room, and we are unable to assume responsibility for external connectivity issues. If you constantly have connection problems, please let us know and we will assist you with any technical issues. We appreciate your understanding, and if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us at any time. Regards, Gearoid Poker Specialist Full Tilt Poker Support

Not so long ago a major isp provider lost its server and wiped out hundreds of users here in Australia for a few hours. The really unfortunate thing was that it was Monday morning here (Sunday afternoon in the USA) PS were fantastic in noting the issue and refunded my buyins (was playing micro MTT's) I did note however that a lot of the grinders who play the large Sunday MTT's use a backup connection if this problem does occur, something I had not thought of before....$30a month for a mobile isp connection might just save you thousands if you play high enough buyins.

Interesting. I once joined a $2 MTT on Stars and had a local power cut maybe 2/3 hands in. I emailed them along with a local news story link about the cut and they refunded my buy in seeing as I was a "Valued user of their site." Ssh, no one tell them my main site is FT...

re: disconnection issues poker I always get disconnected on full tilt. It's the program I have the most problems with. All the other I use, rarely get disconnected. Some times it is really bad. where i get 5 seconds of actual play followed by 8 minutes of trying to reconnect. GRR
