| did anyone encounter this at sign in on Carbon? When I launch the Carbon software, I've always been automatically logged into the server. Today, however, a log in box popped up prompting me to enter my username and password to continue. Pokerstars and Full Tilt both ask you to sign in, but this is a first for me at Carbon (since my first ever log on). Then after I logged off and relogged in, I was automatically logged in as usual again. This isn't some kind of phishing virus on my pc is it? LOL (Getting paranoid) |

| re: did anyone encounter this at sign in on Carbon? poker I think you're reading to much into it. Could be a simple software update or just browser cookies being reset so all the credentials are gone again. Besides which if there if it is part of carbon poker and asking you to sign in and not another .exe trojan then this if fine. If you logged in and saw you cashier/account balance as normal then obviously this is fine. By the way, I don't recommend having auto logic even if it's a private computer... If anything this is asking for trouble. Should someone gain access to your computer through hacking then it's quite simple for them to login. Just leave your username saved, or better still spend 5seconds logging in all your credentials. |
