Crazy live tournaments hands!!!

I dealt in a live tournament with 93 entrants where the winner won an $11000 poker prize of an Entry into the World Poker Tour event in The Bahamas Jan 4th. I have never dealt for 9 hours in a row before and after watching play for that long I will never believe online poker is fixed again. Dealing seperated me from the play and I recommend to anyone who get the chance to do it at least once. I learned more by watching and guessing what people were playing than I ever did reading a book.

Here are some of the hands I dealt while at the tournament. Sorry if some of the info is not exact, it was a long day and I don't remember the amounts on all of them. I remember the first one the best because it was the first huge hand of the tournament. Dealers would yell out "All-in and caller!" so the people with microphones could call the action on a table (cool idea).

Blinds 75/150. Player A raises to 450 gets 2 callers. Flop J 10 8 rainbow. Player A goes all-in for 8k, player B quickly goes all in for alittle over 9k, Player C thinks for a minute and calls. Player A 88, Player B Qh9h, Player C 1010. Two 3 of a kind and the nut straight! Turn A, river A. Player C wins with full house. (this hand could be debated in the hand section from player A or C's position on if the play was right.)

Player one raises about 4xBB and gets one caller. Flop is Q J 5. Raiser pushes all in and other guy calls. Raiser had QQ and other had As6s with one spade on the board. Runner, runner spade (horrible call by the A6, but that is poker and you see this online all the time for runner, runner flush).

Player A raises and get one caller. flop is 4h5h6h. Player A goes all in and player B calls. A has 36 and B has Ah 10h. Turn 3h, river 7H. Straight flush on community cards, split pot. Only two cards that could save him.

Player A goes all-in and called by BB for about 6xBB. A shows kh9h and B shows AK. Flop K 6 8, turn 8, river 8. split pot. Both have full houses.

If I saw any of these happen online I know whoever it happened to would be screaming that it is rigged and string out a line of profanities a mile long. It is so funny, this happens live and people get frustrated but say "thats poker", happens online and it is rigged.

I hear you. Long time ago in California we had to deal our own games at the clubs. Of course we only played draw and loball then. But I always got a lot of insight into players when I was dealing, especially if I wasn't in the hand.

Wow! I can't imagine calling with 3 spades in that spot unless I was really really sure the raiser had missed and was on a bluff. But you better be sure since you have no plan B there!
