Continuing on the road to nowhere...Fishing Lake Bodog

To recap:
In early September I embarked on a quest to build a bankroll from absolute zero. I pulled all my money out of all of the accounts I had active at the time and started over again. The point to this was twofold. Firstly it was going to hush my cynical other half about the time I "wasted" playing poker and challenge myself in a way I hadnt until now really imagined.

The Update
After playing in countless freerolls on FT and Absolute I was becoming discouraged. I was a month in and had only managed one $3 showing on FT (9th in an afternoon Omaha freeroll) and some assorted low money finishes on Absolute Poker totaling $1.17. It was time for something different.

I had never been a big bodog fan but I started playing in the $1000 guar. tourneys hoping to get something better going. Despite my dislike of the software I managed to hit for $6.40 my third time out.
The next day I sat down at one of the .25/.50 Stud tables and right then and there My fortunes changed. In an afternoon I padded my account nicely with an addidional $54.
My luck seemed to take an upturn from this point and bodogs stud tables have footed the bills. I have used winnings now to refinance both my FT and Absolute Poker accounts with $100 each. Poker Stars was next with an additional $150.
As of today the tally reads:
FT $145.50
Absolute Poker $107
PokerStars $238.17
Bdog $112

I have tried to be diciplined and dilligent in this and I can say now that Im glad things have worked out well. My kids got thier trip to Universal Studios (a short drive so no hotels and such to pay for), my wife is VERY supportive of my poker playing now after a mind numbing and extended trip to Victorias Secret (an expense rivaling Univ. Studios, but with better rides :P) And she has gone so far as to clear out a room so I can have a quiet place to play and study. That alone was worth the ordeal. All in all happiness and contentment reign. Enough for now I suppose...I have a day off here to play poker, so I will be getting on with that.
