| Considering PokerStars Signup Thus far I've only played at Full Tilt and have created a $1900 bankroll through freeroll winnings and subsequent money games w/o any initial deposit. Since I was originally ignorant of such things, I did not sign up through a method that provides rakeback, and I don't play enough for Full Tilt and RakeBackPros to offer it to me retroactively. So I'm thinking of joining PokerStars, which might allow me to participate in their rakeback equivalent, the VIP club. I might also be able to participate in the CC League with a funded account. My question relates to the best method to register at PokerStars and fund the account. I would prefer to register through CC, unless that doesn't make sense for some reason. Am I able to fund my account with some of my Full Tilt bankroll. If so, how do it do it and will it affect any bonus $? Are there freerolls at PokerStars that I would be eligible for, or would I be better off registering through another referral (I hate asking that here, so maybe any alternatives suggestions should be handled via PM)? |

| If you can't get RB at Full Tilt then there is absolutely zero reason to play there over Stars (in my opinion, of course, before I get rounded on by FT loyalists ). If you want to move money from one site to another, you have basically two options, neither of which is particularly wonderful but meh: 1) Cash out on FT and use whatever cashout method you used to deposit it on Stars 2) Find someone trustworthy (bold/italic/underline still isn't enough emphasis) who is willing to do a transfer between sites (bear in mind we don't allow funds transfer requests here in the open forum because it's a minefield we'd rather not go wandering in). And register through CC! People signing up through our affiliate links is basically how the site affords the insane amount of freerolls and money added games that we have. You're not missing anything special by doing so unless you like playing in a $200 freeroll with 5k people and stuff, seeing as Stars doesn't have RB. |
