| Connecticut Tournaments I live in Boston. I have never played in a tournament before. I was thinking of entering into a tournament for kicks, the next time I'm in Connecticut. Can anyone suggest to me a good Holdem tournament for beginners at either Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun. Something not too expense. Can anyone tell me what type of players and play I should expect at these places? I've been to both of these places many times, but always play limit ring games. Do the same maniacs who come out at night to place low-limit ring games play in these tournaments? |

| They are both good as far as tournies go. Mohegan is a much nicer room, albeit, much smaller. During the day they both have NL Holdem tournies, $60 buy ins, starting at 11 AM -1 PM. Go to their respective web pages to get the exact schedules. I personally prefer Mohegan, the atmposphere is nicer and, I have won more money there too. LOL. |
