College Poker Players

This is for anyone who is in college and would like to make some money playing poker. I recently won 1K in what is called the College Poker Championship. It is absolutely free and you dont have to make a deposit or anything to claim your winnings. Last year in the event the winner received 50k. They have this every year with qualifiying throughout the school year for regions and then from the final. The payout the regional finals and the finals. im a college poker player and dont want to put any of my own money into a site, therefore i just play freerolls and use my winnings in cash games, working pretty well so far.

gwstudent, I am the same. I only play in freerolls and stuff as well. But the CPC is a freeroll and you dont have to use any of your money. All you have to do is setup an account with the site but you dont have to make a deposit and then you sign up for the CPC. It is 100% free, it is hard to believe but true. I signed up this year and played. Never made a deposit with any of my money or anything and I got my check in the mail for 1k after I won my region. I did this last year too....prettty fun. They start in like Sept. and have games on Sunday nights where if you're in the top 5% (I think) you qualify for regionals that take place in mid May. Then I think it's finals and semifinals or something like that. I made it to regionals and got a College Poker Tournamet hat, sweatshirt, and duffle bag. They also have really good freerolls on Tuesday nights at 6. I couldn't make those because I had class then, but I would be there if I could make it.
