Closing in on 1,000,000 FTP If I spend all my medals in addition to the FTP I already have, I will have roughly a million FTP. I have checked out the store and nothing really appeals to me. Is there something I am missing, or should I flush my FTP away on a custom avatar? Also, can you change this custom avatar? The mini for 6,000,000 will be at least a year away, and its not the car I'd want. I can't drive a motor cycle, so that isn't an option. I'd appreciate some help here, because I might want to spend my medals on a few sets of $600 bonuses.

I seriously doubt you can change the avatar. It's a professional artist that creates it. Maybe you can modify it if you think it sucks. From what I've seen so far, it doesn't look like it takes much longer than 5 minutes for any of them. I'd go for the 46" LCD TV for 365,000. Already have one? Get one for me! There's a fleece zip up hoody for just 9500 or that nice velour bathrobe for 11,000. You can get a massive 30" monitor for 300,000 - or a nice, modest 24" for just 91,000. I got their 500 chip set for 14,700 - not the lacquer highest quality like Poker Stars offers, but still nice, and for a lot fewer points. I like the octagonal poker table top for a measly 18,000. At least 1 year for a Cooper? Are you doing 1,000,000 a quarter? Anyway, I'd skip the avatar, unless you think it'll help you at the tables. I can guarantee you one thing, your hits on Sharkscope and such would go through the roof.

I wouldn't recommend the custom avatar. Like you said, it's basically flushing FTP points down the drain. Depending on how much free space you have where you live, I would go for making a killer sports room. You could spend 246k points on the deluxe poker table, and 375k on the 50 inch TV. That way you can invite your friends over to your place for big sports games and have fun poker game going too (if your friends play poker that is). Then you could spend some of the remaining 379k points on things to increase the ambiance, such as the 14.7k chip set, the 56k bar sign, the 13.5k dart board, and any of the glass sets (the martini glasses, shot glasses, pub or pilsner glasses) all of which are between 4k and 6k per set. Basically, my idea would be just to create a kickass sports/poker room to invite your friends over to where you can all have a good time.

Lol I didn't want to say it, but I definately have to agree with Dorkus Malorkus. There really is absoultely no point in getting a custom avatar. All it will do is draw attention to yourself. If you're really into that kinda stuff then go for it, but personally I would love to get a TV and I would definately cash in the Iron Man medals for the $ bonuses. Man I wish I had that many FTP points its taken me about 2 months to get ~35,000.

If nothing appeals to you why spend them??? It's like being a 5 year old kid who gets his $5 allowance and runs to the store and buys a piece of crap toy that breaks within the hour. Save them and wait for something else to come around. OR send me the TV....

re: Closing in on 1,000,000 FTP poker If nothing appeals to you get electronics and sell them on ebay. I believe FTP points are worth about 0.5c/point so 1M is about 5k. Spending that much on an avatar would be just plain dumb. Or another alternative is through the 2p2 marketplace you can sell them for about $3.50/1k points which comes out to 3.5k for your 1M points. So unless the avatar is worth 3.5k to you don't get that.
