Report # 2 in this series.

This report will be on the Buckeye Card Club (BCC) located in Pickerington.

This club is in competition for the second busiest club in the Columbus area. I believe they have been open for almost 2 years (may be a bit longer).

They regularly get games each day of the $1/$2 NL variety some days starting as early as 1 PM. Their 1/2 games have plenty of action and frequently will have two tables going.
They also regularly get a PLO game going on Weds. Thursdays and Fridays see pretty good $10/$20 Limit Hold em action. These games are in addition to their 1/2 NL.
The cash games that are not 1/2NL normally start at 4PM each day.
In addition to all of this cash poker action there is a pretty stable supply of gin players that frequent the club. Some come only to play gin that is how much action they get there.

In addition to this cash/ring action they have a pretty good schedule and turnout for their tournaments.
BCC is pretty well known for their Sunday "Joker Jackpot" tournaments. These are regular tournaments that serve also as qualifiers for their monthly "Final Joker Jackpot" tournament. The entry fee on these tournaments is $40. The top ten players from these qualifiers make the final. In addition to qualifing the tournaments have the normal pay out also. Money from a ballooning Tournament Bad Beat Jackpot is used to increase the "Final Joker Jackpot" tournament. On Sunday's tournament they add $2500.00. With having up to 40/50 players qualify (depending on the month) the prize pool for that final tournament can be as much as $4500 for a $40 entry! Makes for a nice bonus.
Well BCC has decided to do a Friday night "Joker Jackpot" tournament series. At the end of the month they will be adding $1500.00 added to the final tournament for Fridays.

Each month BCC holds a BCC Championship tournament. Buy in is $200.00. They regularly get 20+ players for this higher buy in tournament. I beleive the most they had was 44 but the tournament continues to grow. This is normally held on the last calendar Sunday of each month but does sometimes change due to scheduling.

Each Saturday at 1PM they have a $100 buy in deep stack tournament that is a club favorite.

New to BCC they are hodling a $100 deep stack tournament (10kT$) at 7PM on Tuesdays.

The remaining nights they offer a $40 buy in. Mondays formerly were the biggest turnout for those tournaments.
