Cashed in $6.50 6 seat turbo ...WITHOUT EVEN PLAYING A HAND!!

Just had registered for a tourney as usual as my net went out. So I rushed down to a local restaurant to set up my lap top to complete the tournament, but as i arrived, i discovered the tourney was over. I was pretty disgusted, however, when i looked at the cashier, i noticed...I CASHED. I got 2nd, without even playing! lol Thanks Pokerstars

lol, its happened to me before in a MTT, but not a small sng. That was a stroll in the park. If only we could just register for many sng's, sit out and cash

Lol, I've seen someone sitting out make it to third place but me and the other guy just took his blinds so he finished in 3rd. I wasn't about to let some guy who hadn't played a hand take 2nd place

lol in this monthly freeroll I enter there is about 400 in the field but at least 150 people tend to be sitting out, so when it came to the last 20 people before the bubble we were still waiting for the people sitting out to go. They all went with about 3 plces to go except for this one guy who won 3 times in a row when he was put all in so he managed to survived those 3 rounds and he made the money (4$). Sure he was pleased with tht!

I've had one occasion where I was the only person not sitting out at my starting table for a free roll, managed to triple my chipstack before being moved to a table with live players. It was great, min raise computer insta-folds everyone.

I have been in the ones on PokerStars where it was almost the same, but it was me and another guy and everyone else was sitting out. I still think that they should have to click a button to take their seat. Then if they click sit out next hand, that is ok, but to just sign up and automatically be there until they blind out doesnt make much sense to me. Though I guess it is ok, as you said: free money...

I played a $10 SNG on full tilt, and won the first hand (just won the blinds). I literally never won another hand but still ended up cashing in third place.

I have seen that happen on party poker, 1 dude was sitting out from start to finish and comming in 2nd. I came in 3rd, whats that saying bout my skill

I've cashed in freerolls from 'sitting out'. Answer to above,.. is it possible to sit out in Fulltilt freerolls, with the possibilty of cashing,... not a chance,.. only the top 27 of 2700 get paid.
I always play supertight in early going of sngs,.. and has been a few occassions where I've been down to around 400 chips (after losing a big pot earlier,.. no,.. I don't make a habit of gettin' blinded out in an sng) and then had the big stacks on the table all get in on the same hand (why?), automatically putting me in the money. Got to like that stuff, lol.
In a 6-plyr.,. making the cash without even playing a single hand,.. awesome, never heard of that one before, lol.

Had two at Bodog, ten seat sng's. In both games before I ever played a single hand 1 guy had KO'd all but me. One I went on to win after a hard fight and the other I got crushed like a bug on a windshield two hands latter ....

umm one time in a 6 man i was looking at some pretty nice girls and forgot i was playing and ended up 2nd so i couldnt of been happier

The level of players on this tables is pretty much all in so it doesnt take too long too get in the money. Just a quick reminder that you dont have to join every hand to make it to the prizemoney
