Cash out problems with Pokerstars

Dont know how you can not want to play Pokerstars because of a mistake u made pc. You dont expect them to payout twice do you? If you cant trust Stars id like to know what site exactly you can trust. Thbem and Full Tilt have the best reputation and its not even close. Hope your not trying smaller sites in the belief that your $ is actually safer there. Ive lost mucho$ on sites that have just closed down without a moments notice, and will just stick with the ones who have been around for awhile from now on. All the time played on those fly by night sites just makes me wish i would have realized this sooner.

Two things;

1. Sadly funds not received yet, but have been in communication with PokerStars
who have generously compensated my online account. They said that this particular
batch of problems started on April 15th and is now being resolved. Players should start
seeing funds around Tuesday May 13th and their obviously clearing the oldest transactions first.
Now another 5-10 business day wait.

2. This is for those of you that I think were smarter and cashed out via paper check.
I’ve heard conflicting stories that PokerStars paper checks are international checks
and US players are charged a fee for cashing and depositing them.
I’ve heard that other US players received checks drawn on US banks.

Can any US players please comment on if they’ve received a US check or not.

I cashout each month from Bodog and my first check is free and sent FedEx. Their checks are drawn on a US bank btw.
