Cash out or move up in levels?

Im curious as to what you guys think of this situation. About 3 months ago, I won about 5 dollars from a CC freeroll. In this 3 months I have turned that 5 dollars into 400. I have done this by starting off at the 2 dollar beginner tables, then moving up to 4 dollar beginners when I got up to 50 dollars. Once I was up to 100, I started playing normal 5 dollar SnGs, 8 dollar beginner SnGs, and 3 and 6 dollar turbos. I got up to about 330 and then I just recently started playing some 10 dollar SnG, however I still play the 5/3/6/8 dollar tourneys a bit too.

The decision I have to make now that I am up to 400 is, do I want to cash out some of that money and continue what I have been doing, or should I move up and play some 20 dollar SnG tourneys. I believe that I am properly bankrolled for them with 400 dollars. I was going to pull out 200 dollars, but its not that important for me to pull that out. It would be nice to see some money from all the work I put in, grinding out those tourneys, but its not really a big deal if I dont see it.

Another question I have is: Is the competition at 20 dollars a lot better than that of the 5/10 dollar tables? I usually play TAG early in tournaments, then play looser when Im in position after 3 or 4 people are gone. Will people be able to read this easier in the higher stakes, unlike most people in the lower stakes who just play their cards?

Really depends on what your trying to accomplish, if continuing to move up in buy in levels is important, curiousity, boredom, whatever then you need to maintain an appropriate bankroll, I have always thought taking some profits out on a regular basis was a good plan, take the wife out for dinner, new golf club, fishing pole, poker books, that sort of thing. I enjoy the game though so don't get bored at $5,6 & 10 buy in levels.

Congrats! If you want play one or 2 higher limit games see for yourself if you dont like em cash out some money and stay at the level ur at, if you feel like you wanna move up just make sure your br can handle it

FIrst off 61% ROI, is unstainable, not a hope that youll ever keep that sort of win rate up over a large sample >500 games.

Your Bankroll is on the limit of playing $20 sit and go's. Id be wary though considering you dont seem to have experience any sort of downswing.
Trust me is easy to not cash in 20 games in a row playing solid poker, and not tilting at all, if i was you id continue to play at the stakes you at for another while.

I agree with Tenbob here.... I thought I could move up in limits with the same size roll as you.....was going fine for a bit but as soon as the downswing hit (and a couple overly donktastic nights by me) I saw my BR plummet in huge chunks. I have since moved back down to where it doesn't hurt to lose a few games and my BR is back on the rise.......
