Carbon Poker Verification...ummmm

Has anyone gone through the verification process on Carbon Poker? I'm just unsure of scanning my drivers license to upload to my account. I never had to do that with PokerStars and everything went fine. Does anyone else worry about this kind of thing or is it just me?

Well you and me both bro... My lady plays she literally just scanned her drivers lisense, bank card front and back, utlilty bill, and verification form and sent it via email to LOCK. I am so nervous about the whole thing. She says there 128 security encripted program and the fact that they require so much verification is a sign that they take your account serious and want to preserve the integrity of online GAMING! SO YOU TELL ME?

It is standard and it doesn't take much digging around to find out if a site is legit. Carbon are very legit.

As for being worried (or extremely nervous) about scanning drivers licenses etc, I really wouldn't worry about that. You're more likely to fall victim of I.D fraud by just browsing through websites and filling data in online as opposed to sending I.D to a company. I'm not sure why people start panicking about it because usually they are fine processing a card payment in the he first place but then reluctant to send in I.D! If anything, when a company asks you to do this, it should be a sign that you are even more safe less likely being the product of fraud.

It is standard, I did it for Carbon over a year ago, and just did it for Lock and Black Chip.

You don't have to do it. I never done it. I been with carbon for 2 years and I never had a problem with withdrawal. Same goes for lock

If you have never deposited onto carbon then you don't have to scan your bank card or anything..All you would do is when you get to the bank card spot put N/A in that area...Other than fill out everything else and scan your ID..After that is complete upload the documents as well as email support a copy of the documents and everything and if everything is done correctly you'll be all verified within a day or two..I did this a while back like Poofy stated and I was verified by the next day when I checked my email..Only problem I had was my initial upload was too large of a file so I had to resubmit with a smaller file

This is definitely standard nowadays. I just verified my account with Carbon Poker. Just scribble out your drivers license number. Only that information may be "sensitive". Otherwise, everything else they could already get by just using facebook or something lmfao.

Although I didn't give them my CC b/c I don't like depositing online :P.

I have verified with carbon and got my money with no problems and I have verfied with all merge, that way when its time for my payout that is not an issue.

I made a withdrawal without verification on Carbon a few months ago and it went through without any problems. I also never made a deposit, won my roll through freerolls. I did go through the verification for another skin (PlayersOnly).

only had to verify when it was time for withdraw. i never had a problem so far.

I have to ask, what if you don't have a CC to scan, and got a BR from playing freerolls?

You don't need to provide a CC, but I did have to sign the CC form and give my email on it. Just left the CC info blank.

I think you have to verify and deposit now to do p2p transfers. You only use to need to verify to do p2p transfers.

Fairly standard procedure for the past few years at most sites, and for sure will be mandatory if the US returns legally to the bigger online world.

I used EcoCard. I think I might have verified with them, but I don't think they share information.

I cash out without doing it. All you need to do is make a first deposit. Believe me I been at Carbon 2 years now.

Very simple and quick as opposed to recieiving the actual check. I think you upload the stuff they want from their web page or site

Sucks that there are basically 2 sets of rules-one for US and one for the ROW.

I am so glad that most people say its not a risky thing and is pretty standard to email these documents, but My lady didn't block out her drivers liscense number.... IS THIS SERIOUSLY A THREAT TO OUR SECURITY?

ummm if this is A western union thing, this is like the second time i have heard someone complain about using that option... Only your instance someone didn't pick it up, thats better than the last guy, apprently they picked it up and didn't credit it. So your atleast good there! No, I sent mine when my SS# was my license# and nothing happened.
Also they have (at least for US) dropped the deposit requirement from the list of things to do to be verified.

I did it for Carbon and Lock, it is standard for these rooms.Don't worry about it, they're a big network and have shown they are serious over the years.
