Yeah I think I have won 2 fun step 3's...fun step 1 and 2 were easy to get by it was just winning fun step 3 that was tough. I wouldn't recommend the big 6 cent tourney if you do win a buck or two, I would either play in the fast fifty or sngs or take it to the tables.

re: Carbon Poker Fun Step If you have time and patience, you can start your bankroll playing those steps SNG's. Like everyone said, step 1 is an all in feast, step 2 is mostly luck too and step 3 is a normal buy in cash game. I think that top 3 of step 3 should be paid with money, only the first place makes so much harder.

Click on PLAYER ADMIN at the bottom of the lobby, then click on MY ACCOUNT at the left of the web page, then click on PLAY MONEY and then you can purchase the funstep1 ticket for 250 play money. Then go to sitngo lobby and search for the funstep1 match. Enter and finish in the top 3 and get a funstep2 ticket. Enter that match the same way and finish in the top 2 and get a Funstep3 ticket. Enter that match and finish in 1st place and get $1 deposited into your account, which you can go and play sitngos or cash games and win more money. It's worth it if you don't wont to deposit any cash into your account. It's a way to get into real money for free. Ive won a couple of these and it's pretty cool. Also check out the $200 freeroll in the tournements lobby. It's also a way to get into free money without making a deposit.

the fun step 1 is easy to win. You usually get one or 2 people to go all in first hand. Haven't played at Carbon since Black Friday. 3 is a little harder but if you play tight them after a few people are knocked out you can usually cash or win your fun step 2 ticket back

Hey I need some help with the whole thing. I've been trying to get into some freerolls and such, but having very little luck Can you please explain the step 1 Fun things a bit more? Maybe tell me how to get into them? Also is there any use to play money?

I found you can hold onto as many Fun Step 2 tickets as you want. Just check it out and you'll find all tickets have an expiration date, so just make sure you use them before they go away. And good luck. But is there anything else? Outside of pokerowned.com freerolls, the 200 5k person free roll and the Fun steps? If there is no more I don't think I can really play on Carbon.

If you take these seriously and play every Step 1 you possibly can, you should be able to add nearly $2 per week to your bankroll. I picked up an $11 Satellite Ticket in one of the daily $200 freerolls but its only good in Rebuy Satellites. I'm playing these Fun Steps to bank at least enough for a $10 add-on!

Agreed, for $1 there is absolutely no way that these can be considered worth the time spent. However, compared the $200 freerolls, they are probably a little bit less of a waste of time. Nice thing is that once you've cranked through Steps 1 and 2, the Step 3 tickets can be saved and used at any time of the day. And then the 10 seat single table Sit N Go format takes a lot less time than a $200 freeroll MTT with 2000-5000 players.

I funstepped a dollar to $350 last month, but donked it back in a few weeks. Since I wont deposit post black Friday it was a fun ride while it lasted. I'm living off the VIP points now, but I gotta say its quite time consuming and you need a lot of patience.

After all my hunting and lookin through sites, I have found that Carbon poker is the best for free tournaments. But just because its the best doesn't make it all that good. The Funsteps are your best bet to get into the money I think. I just hate to think about working all the way to the third fun step and getting 4th, then u gotta start all over. |

I'm considering the Double Or Nuttin 10-seat Sit N Gos. $1.08 entry pays $2 back to half the players. |

I still have not cashed in the third step, but will most likely hit up a cash table once I do. Has anyone tried the .11c Bumblebee Room SH Super Turbo's? I'm not a big fan of super turbos, but with only 1$ you would have 9 buy-in's. Dunno if anyone could actually cash in those ST's or not without some luck, but with only a dollar or two your gonna need some anyway :x.
