Carbon Late Reg After Add-on?

OK, it's my own fault. I know, I know. I need to pay better attention.

But come on! Why does Carbon allow late registration for tournaments after the add-on has been completed?

That was the quickest I ever hit push fold mode, except for that one push fold tourney I played.

Not all the tournaments have late registering after add-on , some of the tournaments which the break starts after 30 mins past from the tournamnet starts... This tournaments have late registering even after add-on

seems odd, surely it should finish at the add-on

Beyond odd! But I guess I'll keep an eye out in the future.

I got 2000 chips and blinds were 200/400 with 2 minutes until the next level, and I started in the Big Blind. I wish they would let you sit down (and of course add on) before dealing you a hand, but alas, the add-on period had expired 20 minutes prior to my registering!

So you late reg'd more than half way through a rebuy? Yes, you should have definitely paid attention. That is strange though that late reg. was still open.

Strange to you and me, but apparently not to Carbon. I have been looking out and have noticed quite a few of these add on tournaments still allowing registration after the add on period. Silly silly, but I guess if they can make money off careless chumps like me.....

It's all about the rake ...

Rake stops when reg closes. Keep reg open and the rake flows, flows, flows, flows ...

I been with Carbon a while now but I have never heard of late registration after add-on, not unless they just recently did that.

I just played in this $1,000 Guaranteed 1 Add-on 1 Re-buy at Carbon.

Here is a screen shot of the tourney.....Note the 18 Re-buys and 30 Add-ons with 24 minutes remaining to register! 52 REGISTERED PLAYERS.

...

...

11 minutes later.....the same number of Re-buys and Add-ons but now 61 REGISTERED PLAYERS.

...

...

And finally with registration closed a few minutes later with the same number of Re-buys and Add-ons, but now 67 REGISTERED PLAYERS!
